T.I. Sentenced To A Year In Jail!

Rapper T.I. was sentenced Friday morning to 1 year and 1 day in jail, in accordance to a plea deal set forth by his legal team for felony weapons charges.
He's scheduled to voluntarily turn himself in to prison within the next 6 to 8 weeks.
The specifics of his unique plea bargain include 1,000 hours of community service completed prior to sentencing, a $100,000 fine, and another 500 hours of community service once behind bars.
The "1 year and 1 day" aspect of his sentencing increases his chances of getting out early for good behavior.
We hope he's learned his lesson!

I am the biggest T.I. fan there is, and I know that HE knows it was the stupidest thing he could've ever done, but he will pay for his mistakes and come back stronger than before. He puts on the best show, and during his concert 2 weekends ago in Houston he said he knew he was gonna get the time, so there is nothing to do but deal with it. God bless T.I.

While Perez has been late alot lately, he isn't today. His official sentencing was today. There was just talk of him getting a year beacuse of his plea deal and the certainty that it would be done.

i totally adore T.I. he is one of the best and hottest rappers out there. i just hope that he has truly learned from his mistakes and isnt just repentant for sentencing's sake. i also understand what he is talking about when his reason for getting the guns, that he was paranoid and wanted to protect his family. but he couldve gone about doing that in a better way. like hiring more security or something…maybe he'll get more fuel for his lyrics and come out with yet another bomb ass record when he is released…

First of all T.I's charge is bullshit. There is no reason he shouldn't be allowed to have guns for protection. I understand that he was a felon but hell if he were that bad of a person then maybe he shouldn't be walking the streets. But he isn't. He did is time. Hell he was even allowed to vote.
You people really need to get educated about guns. Not everyone who has guns are gangbangers or redneck hunters. It is a right and should be allowed by all. Guns are like the war on drugs, they will never end. So why try and disarm the law-abiding citizens? We ALL should have the right to self-protection. Even the sex offenders get second chances.

i really love T.I. anyone that has seen his interviews and really listens to him talk knows that he understands that he made a mistake. there are so many other rap artists that have done worse things than have guns. they still walkin around. i feel that they had to use somebody as a marter so they took T.I.'s
past criminal record and used it against him to show those other rap artists that they are not immune from going to jail no matter who they are or how much money they have. i hope they let him out early to be with his family. im glad that Tiny decided to hang in there with him until this is all done. may God bless and watch over him until he comes home.
