More British Blood in New Moon!
20-year-old British actor Jamie Campbell-Bower has joined the cast of New Moon, which has already begun production.
Campbell-Bower will play Caius, the leader of the Volturis, a group of vampires in Italy, although he admits that "I hadn't read the books before. But it's a great thing to be a part of, and it did very well last year."
Translation: "I'm set for life with this garbage!"
Jamie will be joining Dakota Fanning, who is also playing a member of the Volturi, but he wouldn't reveal the rest of the cast, saying, "I do know who else will be in it - but I can't tell you, unfortunately. But go online and have a look at the rumours. They're all false."

This is really bad casting, have they not read the books? I could see him playing Alec, not Caius. Aro is the true leader of the Volturi, and even if they are going for a young look he will have to be transformed into an onion skinned alien-like freak, oh wait he kinda already does.

It amazes me how many of you pass such horrible judgements on a person you do not know. For one thing have some respect he is not a child or kid he is 20 years old, and because he may not look like pattinson doesn't mean he won't do a great job. Who needs enemies when you have critics like the people here, give him a chance before you criticize, that it is all I'm saying.
Re: tinyroger – he may be 200 years old but it doesn't mean that he was not changed when he was younger in age. Most of the characters in the series are under 25 years of age according to descriptions of when they were changed into vampires, and it is hard to picture a 65 year old actor being beautiful as described by stephanie meyer with their age definitely being apart of their features. Before anyone gets upset I am not saying this is not possible I have seen people in this age factor look better than some of us young folk, but it is alot easier to cast younger when dealing with exstinsive makeup

Referring to the Twilight saga as 'garbage' is a bit rich considering any post you run that even vaguely mentions the book titles or Rob gives you the most comments of any movie, tv show or celebrity. Okay, you may not like the books (have you even read them or is it just the movies you are anti?) but you should respect your fans. I'm still pissed off that you ran that 'story???' on Rob about him being stinky on set when it was so obvious that it was untrue. I thought you liked Rob? Where's your loyalty?

2) Everyone keeps complaining about how he's too young. The Volturi are 1000's of years old in HUMAN years (and if you'll remember Carlisle is 100's), but SMeyer never ever said how old they were when they were changed. It is perfectly feasible that, like Carlisle, Edward, etc, they were CHANGED when they were younger. Go ahead, people, go back and read the books…nowhere does it every say that the Volturi are old guys…just that, as vampires, they are ancient.

uggggghhhh!! they are seriously about to mess up New Moon.
first with Dakota Fanning and now with this fool. i am really fed up. New Moon is about to be ruined with the fact that all of these actors and actress now want to hop on the Twilight Series bandwagon cause they see dollars signs. why did they not audition for Twilight like everyone else. only because they didnt think it would do good at the box office. it made millions in the movies and last i heard has already sold 6 million in dvd's. they need to stick with relatively unknowns like they did before. just because you have a famous face in the movie doesnt mean its going to be good or draw crowds to the theaters. we can leave that to Robert Pattinson….period. he is the real reason all of us will buy a ticket. well, at least me. lol.
