The Return of Miss Kittin & The Hacker!

Filed under: Music Minute > Francophilia

They released one of the most influential dance songs of the new millennium, Frank Sinatra, and helped to define the electroclash movement, yet Miss Kittin & The Hacker only made one album together before splitting off to pursue solo projects.

Well, after 8 long years, the duo have reunited for a new album!

Check out their just-released video for 1,000 Dreams (above).

miss kittin's frank sinatra was not one of the most influential dance songs of the new millenia. absolutely was not. maybe in LA la land. LA is not the center of the universe, especially when it comes to dance music. i think you should do some more research.

    19. 19

      No, thanks…

    20. 20

      NO.

      31

No thank you. Also there is something about her face that bugs me.

    32. 32

      ehhhh….. no thanks

    33. 33

Frank Sinatra had the goofy shock factor. This just seems like a straightforward 80's track that doesn't reflect the style of Kittin or Hacker, unless they're TRYING to go in a new direction. Good song, but had I heard it somewhere else, I wouldn't have guessed it was her.

    34. 34

I feel like i am back in 1982…its been done before and way better.

    35. 35

i loove miss kittin but this is slightly disappointing.

    36. 36

perez you have 0 knowledge about electronic music. stop repeating the shit you read on the magazines. my farts were more influential than that song.

    37. 37

Miss Kittin is awsome and makes amazing electro tunes.
Unlike that fake undeground diva you all love (trashy gaga), Kittin's songs are pure indulgence.

    38. 38

it still sounds 8 years old. blech.

Ok what the hell is this? I spent years with a sequencer and midi cables for this?

This sounds like a bad preset from an emu-guidotron 2000 rack preset#Power 96 mega mix….this is gonna end up on one of those late night cd's called eurodance now…..BOTH OF YOU WHAT THE HELLLLLLLLLL!

I find this to be over produced and lacking any creative genius from either of them!!

It sounds forced and it seems like theres a crappy force pushing them

I was in ave d i wrote some of there early music miss kitten and the hacker
were one of the things that helped me write music like that

all i have to say is

      aye yi yi yi yi!

    40. 40

MOTHERFUCKERS ARE SO NICE! SUCK MY DICK ,LICK MY ASS!
Frank Sinatras a good song, no way is it as influential as you said. TUNE OF THE NOUGHTIES DOES TO VITALIC LA ROCK 01!

    41. 41

Boring, boring, electroBORING - Just what we need, more music you don't need to have a band to perform - gag.

    42. 42

It sounds like "ok…" but hours later you have this spinning on your head again :)

      Nice poppy stuff.

The Hacker is such a humble producer and normal guy, love him!
