As a current UMW student, I hope this sighting does not gain any major publicity for Chris Brown. UMW is a not a well-known university and we hope people hearing he was on our campus does not damage our reputation. UMW is a primarily female university and we do not support him or his actions.

that was not the usual Chris at all, hes usually the one with the ball, bouncing and dancing all over the court with a big fat smile on his face.
I rate him for having the courage to be there and well, anywhere for that matter, he's obviously aware of the whispers and cameras surrounding him and is still putting forth the effort to live some normality.
I have no respect for these GIRLS that posted the video on TMZ.. he's in his hometown and can't even get privacy there while doing something as simple as playing ball!.. I wish people would respect him AND the situation and just leave him be.

Its so sad that Chris Brown is genuinely one of the good ones, but he makes one mistake and everyone crucifies him. People have chosen to ignore the fact that Rihanna has also been violent towards him (and her brother apparently, throwing a glass bottle at him!?) simply because shes a woman.
Chris is truly one of the most sweet, funny, charming, talented - and yet so humble - people you could ever have the pleasure to meet and everyone who knows him loves him for his character so i pray he comes out of this whole fiasco undamaged and UNchanged.

Ugh. This is starting to get played out. So what the boy played basketball at a University, Whopped Di Friggin Doo!! If Rihanna was big enough to hit then she should be big enough to get hit back. Now I'm not saying that how much he beat her up ( if he was the one to actually beat her up that bad) is right or if he hit her first is even better, but get off it already. You see their back together so she mustn't think to much of it.
