Oh how sad. One of The Real Housewives of New York ("real" used with some license here) is getting divorced.
But this ain't any old Housewife! This is Countess LuAnn de Lesseps we're talking about here!
Look at that - Countess.
LuAnn has separated from her husband of 16 years, the Count Alexandre de Lesseps, but she won't be stripped of her title.
In a statement, the Countess said she and the Count "plan to remain friends and their primary focus will be to do what is best for their two children."
And, for some reason unbeknownst to us, a few of you really care about this.

This is an American model (an unsuccessful one at that or else we would've heard of her) who caught the Count's eye. She is fake, not her true self at all, and while a woman should adjust to married life once she's a Mrs (and she did marry a Count so she must have been expected to BE a certain way) this LuAnn seems to have completely deleted her history, her own family, her past, it's all about the Count and his lineage, the family jewels, the showy competitions in The Hamptons..etc. I feel bad for the kids, divorce alters children's lives and shatters them.
