I'm so sick of the argument that gays marrying somehow demeans the sanctity of marriage. It hasn't affected me or my husband's relationship in the least or anyone else I know for that matter. What a waste of energy and time trying to control other people because they don't believe what you do.
Though personally I could care less one way or the other, the fact is that HALF of the American population is AGAINST gay marriage, perhaps more. Politicians are simply there to support the WILL OF THE PEOPLE. Perez should keep in mind that his beloved OBAMA does NOT support gay marriage either - why not post about that?

First of all, there's a difference between supporting gay marriage and calling gays "degenerates". Obama included gays in the speech he made when he won the election, that said a lot. As for the person giving Perez a hard time for taking such things personally and saying he is insecure with his sexually to get uptight about it - homophobia is not a joke and has cost people lives and massive pain. Speaking out against it and fighting for equality is not an insecurity, it's a basic human right. As for Sarah Palin, I am not sure why anyone is still talking about her. If she thinks she can see Russia from her porch and doesn't know that a turkey is being slaughtered right behind her, I can only imagine what else she won't notice. Honestly, the woman will never have a chance to rise up in politics any more than she already has and got a lucky break and her 15 seconds, she lost and she will not be taken seriously as a candidate in the future. At least now she can stay home and take care of her young special needs child which is what she should have been doing in the first place.

How come you didn't get on Barney Frank for calling Supreme Court Judge Scalia a "homophobe." He doesn't even know him, he's too busy taxing the hell out of this country. It works both ways. We still don't know if Scalia is a homophobe but just because someone doesn't agree with a person's religion, politics, etc, doesn't mean they aren't allowed to express their views. We live in the USA, if you don't like it, leave. It's that simple.
I would love to see you get on some of the liberals who have taken from AIG and who never read all these f'ing "plans"/bailouts/"stimulus packages." Chris Dodd, Nancy Pelosi, etc. And yea, Republicans should have had the balls and said something but everyone was so fricking rushed to get people and "plans" and place. You think Geitner would have been the Sec. of Treasurer if he was in front of a Republican congress? I think not.
