President Barack and wifey Michelle Obama arrived in England on Tuesday night as part of their first official trip to Europe, and Michelle has looked absolutely gorgeous every step of the way!
Michelle channeled the late Jackie O. with a classic tweed Thakoon coat paired with her Jimmy Choos for her departure from the White House.
Such class!
For her arrival in England, Michelle changed into a stunning golden dress designed by the mastermind behind the First Lady's inaugural gown, Jason Wu.
The Obamas met with Prime Minister Gordon Brown and wife Sarah Brown early Wednesday morning and Michelle stood out in a sea of black with quite the bold choice - a mint green skirt accented by a jeweled creme colored sweater.
We can't wait to see what outfits the First Lady has planned for the remainder of the trip!

Is this an April Fools' article? Michelle Obama dresses like a frumpy grandma. She's only 45 years old–she needs to wear clothes that have a little more youth in them. The cardigan twin set and pearl choker are not stylish in 2009.
I don't like her clothes, they look old fashioned. Why not something more current? It's weird to try to look like Jackie O unless you are Caroline Kennedy.

To my taste, she s dressing a lottle bit too "sparkly" and "glittering"….In Europe, and Germany, statesmen and their wives dress in a more"formal" and more "elegantly" style and NEVER do we wear any "flamboyant" colors of styles for serious events and state events! Look at Mrs. Sarkozy of France and then you may know what I m speaking of….
We love our politicians and managers to be dressed in more subdued, quiet and subtle colors and style…But then again, everybody doesn t necessarily have to wear the same kind of clothes, a little bit of your "local home" touch can be added. I, however, would always adapt somewhat to the local taste of the regions I m visiting - and that s what she did (a bit) this time, I guess….
I think her dress style has improved and I like the dresses she choose this time for her European trip better than the ones she chose für inauguration events a few months ago…
