GaGa follows in the footsteps of Christina Aguilera and Mariah Carey, both artists who nabbed the top spot twice in a row with their debuts.

The Lady is only the fourth female artist in the last 25 years to open with a pair of No. 1s

i love her, she is my second favorite artist of all time, but you can't keep calling her the new princess of pop. Britney earned that title. GaGa has only been popular for maybe 6 months? not even. I liked her before she was huge and then suddenly exploded. she is not worthy of the title "princess" yet. We still don't know if she has staying power and if her new material will be just as good as the fame or not. if anything, GaGa is the "Lady in waiting."
