If you like The Rapture, then you'll love Casxio.

This local L.A. band has been toiling away for a couple of years, but it wasn't until a few weeks ago at SXSW that they first came onto our radar.

Their sound is best described as lo fi disco soul, and if that sounds appealing to you, then you will love their song Seventeen as much as we do.

wow. everyone who said this is a Ladytron cover is either deaf or just that fucking dumb and didn't even listen to the song. It has completely different lyrics AND beats, it just has the same name…its not as if Ladytron invented the number 17 idiots. And just fyi Casxio is actually a very well respected local band in la, all of you who talk shit are obviously just a bunch of boring white kids from santa monica and hollywood who like to think they're part of a scene but in truth are about as interesting as the solid color baby doll dresses and platforms glued to your fake tans. I mean really guys, ripping on this band is fucking comical, you're all exceptionally off the mark. Have fun with that, and please…for our sake, just stay as far west of the 101 as you can.
