Woman "Saved" By Demi Moore Expresses Her Gratitude
Filed under: Demi Moore
So maybe there is some use for Ashton Kutcher's mommy wife.
The woman whom Demi Moore saved via Twitter from committing suicide is thanking the actress for reaching out.
The San Jose, California, woman says, "I’ve always been a fan of Demi Moore and she did an excellent job in helping me and she deserves a lot of praise. I would also like to thank Daniel Morton, the original Twitter user that reached out to me and everyone else on the network that offered their support. I’m really grateful that so many people helped me during a time of need."
Taking a proactive approach, the woman is seeking aid through Suicide.org.

You don't even say the girl's name and how did Demi Moore know this girl was going to kill herself???
1st , its nice to see twitter has a good use besides telling people what i am doing with my twatter
She's a HASBEEN!!!
So is her loser husband!
Who gives a rats ass?!!!
Thank god Demi was involved and not that half wit of hers. Then the person would have either killed herself or sought out Aston and blown his brains out!
God.. this news makes me feel proud to be a San Jose citizen. YAY.. celebrities saving idiots day by day.
Its nice when stars try to help ppls.
BC it dont happen very often
Demi Moore.. If the woman had a productive life of her own, she wouldn't have been on twitter, all day and all night..Guess being a twitter whore is paying off…Demi, no more pics of you laying in bed with specs on pretending to be reading..Really.. no more!! What grown person takes pics of them reading in bed and posts in on the internet.. GET A REAL LIFE..Your 15 mins of fame has come and gone…
What a breath of fresh air to hear that a celeb cares about human life. Hopefully this act of kindness will be remembered about Demi and not just that she shields her face from paps.
Mario - you should do something for humanity: Pick the crumbs from your belly button and under your fat rolls and feed a small country! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA HO!
Octo Twitter Nutcase Speak's Out! So Sadddddddd!
Seems like she had a little more time there before they cued the music back up. She could have thanked a couple more people.
So now that people talk to you on Twitter it's turned your life around and now you don't want to kill yourself. Cause people talked to you on the INTERNET. Loser.
I think this was a really thing for an A list celeb to do. Its amazing how through Twitter you could even contact people like Demi Moore. it could be a publicity stunt, but nonetheless it was a good deed.

HOAX
i don't think you should be mocking it by saying she "saved" someone.
i sounds like she really did. that woman sounds very appreciative..
even though you don't like her, you have to give her credit
I think Ashton has a good mom…Ashton is more like Demi's dad.lol
Mentally, emotionally, maturity, creatively…he's a light years ahead of her and a Lot of people! Ashton will have to 'settle for' no matter what woman he's with because - He's that smart n that good!
Good job mom Kutcher!
Demi's mom - kindof a smoking mess…so where would Demi get any mom skills to even come close to meeting Ashton's needs at all?
1) Dem was the first (almost hot), actress he's ever met and was an easy lay…
2) If I lay this lackluster brunette a few times - I MIGHT GET TO MEET BRUCE!?
good that she finally did something to help others - now that she's 40!
By accident but it counts!lol
Anybody familiar with this story knows that Demi did NOT save this woman. She did NOT even call the authorities, somebody ELSE who saw DEMI's twitter comment called. Demi simply posted something saying what she was written and that she didn't feel good to just ignore it. PLAIN OLD EVERY DAY PEOPLE DID EVERYTHING ELSE. But of course, Demi is getting credit, she is the celebrity after all! Good grief!
Demi, only YOU can save Potato Head!
Whoever that woman was, she got exactly what she wanted—ATTENTION, and Demi Moore played right into her hands. She was fine, when police got to her house. This is exactly what a person with borderline personality disorder does. It's nothing to be proud of, nor is it something to be sympathetic to. Borderlines are very manipulative. I've worked in psychiatry for almost 13 years, and honestly, it's these types of people (as well as anti social PD's) that try your patience the most.
I like that pose. She must have forgotten her Poise pad.
PS I can say that because I'm menopausal just like her.
in her freetime demi moore likes to go search profiles on twitter for suicide atemptees.
what an angel.
*suspicion*
LMFAO, How the fuck did Demi save her, all she basically said to the girl was "I hope you are joking"? Another woman desperate for her 15 minutes.
This is so stupid, how is "your kidding" helpful? Fucking dumb. Shut up.
Re: poshbabygia – Oh yeah? I also work in the field. And, typically, people like me are disgusted by people like you who make assertions like that about people you earn your money off of. If you have a such a problem with mental disorders, get another fucking job.
On the note of this "story", it does not appear to be genuine.
What is it with people having to announce their planned suicide on such sites like myspace and twitter?? I mean, I'm glad the woman is okay, but seriously. And why is it some of the celebs are tweeting every 10 seconds? There really are people out there who have to know what you're doing all the time? I just thought it was cool to use if you were having lunch somewhere and wanted to announce it to your friends. I guess I just find it arrogant. I mean the two biggest douchebags in history - John Mayer and Pete Wentz - are tweeting all the time. I wouldn't even follow MY favourite artist on Twitter, but then again, my favourite artist wouldn't be sharing every mundane ounce of his personal life with hundreds of thousands of other people.
Re: poshbabygia –
SOOOO true!!! Your statement was not posted in malice, but just stating facts. Exactly what I was talking about in my post - what is the need to seek attention in such a desperate way? If you really wanted to kill yourself, I mean REALLY wanted to, you would be either A. doing it or B. trying to get yourself some serious help, like calling a crisis line or a counselor. People who kill themselves rarely announce it to the world, UNLESS they are looking for the attention. That is just a FACT.
look at this video of the guy that Daniel Morton dude. Demi is getting all the credit and this dude did all the work…LOL JACKED UP!!!! Poor bastard!

Woman Had Left Message On Actress Demi Moore's Page
PR STUNT… smelled it as soon as i read the first post on this. either Demi wanted her name out there again, or this lady was desperate for some celebrity's attention… next!
i smell a publicity stunt
I know nobody will believe this but I actually know this person in San Jose and this is NOT a publicity stunt.
Re: OOGLE – Totally agree. She didn't do shit either, she just 'retweeted' what the woman wrote. I saw the whole Twitter thread. The woman in question was also probably just sick of being ignored by the celebrities on Twitter.
By the way, on Twitter and check out celebrities pages…god what a bunch of vain douchebags they are all, including Perez. They wont respond back to 'regular' people either generally. And they all "Twitpic" (post photos of themselves) yet they hide their faces when they;re out in public. ASSHOLES….
Most productive thing she has done in years.
Re: ClownsFreakMeOut – I obviously can't possibly know whether you know this woman or not. While some people may be questioning whether or not this "whole thing" was a publicity stunt, I think some are like me, wondering if Demi's Peeps put this out there for publicity for Demi. After all, the Demi DID NOT save that woman's life. The people who actually called the police are the real heroes, unfortunately they are not "celebrities" therefore are unworthy of being mentioned. I agree with the first letter, Demi DOES put the TWIT in the word TWITTER! LOL!!!
