Reeling from her adoption request being denied by a court in Malawi, Madonna and children headed back to London, where she was greeted by her ex, Guy Ritchie.
Monday night, Madge headed out to Cecconi's restaurant in Mayfair with her close friend, Stella McCartney.
And although the Material Mom was trying to put on a smile for the cameras, girlfriend's still wrecked.
At least she's got one hot bodyguard to lean on - literally!

If this old whore really wanted that child she would still be in Africa (living her 18 months there) instead of at a 5 star restaurant in London. Shows you where her priorities are. I'm very happy to read that her tour is tanking now. She needs to be taken down a few notches (like her music quickly falls down the charts).
She should maybe just spend more time with the kids she aready has!

I agree with #1. If she wants the child so badly then follow the rules. Go live there for 18 months. It seems they are willing to give her a pass on not being married. It's about the child right and she "loves" her so much right? I'm sure she could find her a little something make it nice and there it's setteled.
Again, if she really wants/loves this little girl her ass would be living in a hut for 18 months to fufill the requirements. She has enough money never to work again, so there is no excuse.

If Madonna actually knew what real love is "She claims to love the girl Mercy" then she would have rented a nice villa in Malawai and met the 6 month residency requirement. She has no concept of that emotion, she obviously thinks of children as toys or accessories. I know many couples trying to adopt that would do way more than just renting an apratment for 6 months to be able to adopt a child. Madonna is more shallow than even other celebs.

Madonna obviously feels that she shouldn't have to adhere to the laws of the land (regardless of what land it is). It's a shame that someone that came from nothing feels that she is owed everything. I'm sure she's passing her values and views down to her spawn also which makes it even worse. I'm sure LuLu is no angel……

Ugh. As with all things Madonna, this is a publicity trek. She KNEW the adoption was going to be denied prior to appeal. Why do you think she was present during the preliminary hearing, but not at the actual ruling?!?! She KNEW. The judge had to follow the law, but the appeals court or prime minister will make a special exception. She will get the baby, eventually. Being met at the airport by Guy and going out to dinner with Stella at a top hotspot are not excactly the moves of a woman in mourning, who would like privacy. She's on a sympathy / empathy tour, prior to bringing home the little girl. Last time, with David Banda's adoption, which absolutely circumvented Malawian law, there was such a backlash, which Malawi officials want to avoid this round. But, Madonna will end up with Mercy; it's all been planned … TRUST.

David would probably love to live in his home country for a while, and for Lourdes and Rocco, they are already divided between parents anyhow - why not countries, too? For all the morons here,there are so many orphans in Africa that it's an epidemic, when someone like Madonna with all the money and power can't adopt a kid it discourages any average person from doing so. So they will have continent full of starving orphans. Most people in the states want a white baby ,not a 2year old and up of color. So I guess they would rather show some upitty white woman the door then find homes for orphans, how pathetic and cruel and self serving. No average person will be willing to move to Africa for 18 months before they can take a child home, they waived that requirement for Madonna the first time and they should waive it again. Waive that silly law so people can actually start adopting these babies.
