    That's Idol's dirty little secret. Archuleta is way more talented and more popular worldwide than Cook. He sold out 21 of 23 venues - including the House of Blues in Chicago on his recent solo tour, and he is beginning to garner this type of attention everywhere he goes. No need to be hating on David - the dude has real talent, and has one of the best male pop voices in the business. The Jonas Brothers have NOTHING on Archuleta.

    Some find it so easy to hate a pure heart. I've met David twice. He is the nicest, most humble person, I've ever come across. I've also seen him in concert twice and he's simply amazing to listen to live. He's come a long way since Idol and I couldn't be happier for him.

    David also has fans here in the States to recognize his talent and character.

    I knew David was popular there! There are lots of Southeast Asian fans on the fan boards. I love David's voice and his pop album. And I love his personality too. He is always himself and he is humble, honest and kind to everyone. Ignore the haters and the ones who say he's gay. David sings and talks about girls, goes on casual dates with girls and he just hasn't kissed one yet. He is Mormon and he is being a good Mormon teen. He is my role model for being a nicer person.
