The country singer was hoping that her partner in adultery, wacktor Eddie Cibrian, would be split from his spouse by their May wedding anniversary, according to Us Weekly. But, instead, the mag reports that Cibrian has cut off all communication with his Northern Lights co-star to try and save his marriage with model Brandi Glanville.
According to a source, Eddie and his wife, "They’re making a go of it…They’ve been affectionate — hand-holding and smoochy."
LeAnn and her husband, Dean Sheremet, however, are taking a break and LeAnn has hit up the therapist in order to "figure out how to deal with" her marriage, which has "had problems for some time."

This entire episode was manufactured to drum up interest in and ratings for their lame made for TV movie they both starred in. Cibrian's wife is a smoking hot babe and Rimes looks like a baby horse with a gay husband. The two would never cross paths romantically. This is so fake I could smell it a mile away.

You can also tell that his side has no interest in participating in the publicity over this at anywhere near the level of her side. Her reps are trying to get as much mileage out of this as possible to help start an acting career for her. Cibrian already has a mediocre career on TV and just got the job done by getting some press and interest in his TV movie, now he's done. It's so stereotypical, it's pathetic.

Leann married too young; we all know that. Poor girl happened to pick someone batting for the other team, too. Sad. That marriage didn't stand a chance to offer happiness and fulfillment, just friendship, at best. Doesn't excuse having an affair with a married man, but Eddie is the total scumbag, as he has two KIDS! One of them isn't even two years old yet, right?! This is surely not the first time he strayed, either. He's just trying to save his marriage, because he actually got caught this time… and divorce from a long-term marriage in CA (which his nearly is … ) means HALF for the rest of his LIFE!!!
Maybe both of their spouses should have done a better job at home. Everyone always blames the cheater, but there are reasons people stray, and it's usually not because the spouse is doing such a stellar job at home. If you are doing a great job as a husband/wife, then your spouse generally won't cheat. Most people instincitively want to do the right thing. No one wants to be a cheater. Both LeAnn and Eddie weren't getting what they needed at home, obviously. That's what happens when you don't do your job as a spouse. Sorry, but it's factual.

This is the classic story of what happens with two married people cheating. The woman is prepared to leave her husband (and sometimes does), and then the man leaves her high and dry and runs back to his marriage. Hating it!
