      You don't have to have money to help your community. We deliver meals for meals on wheels. You can do all types of things.

      perez, do you have any real concept how bad the economy really is? Yes, the arts are important, but a roof over ones head, food in ones stomach, health care, clothes, etc. all of that, they are higher on the survival list. yes, it would be nice if some rich person just flew down and funded it, but didn't you just call out celebrities because your st. madge gave half a mill to italy?       The irony is that this kids probably are obsessed on some level with the multi-billion $ High School Musical franchise… Disney, not Julliard should be ashamed and should pony the fuck up to keep the program alive.

      I wouldn't donate to them since it is solely a "minority" program. Not all poor kids are minorities. This kind of blatant discrimination towards caucasians are what keeps people separated. If they are going to have a program geared towards poor kids, it should be towards ALL poor kids, not just minorities.

      OK, rich musicians everywhere. Time to pay it forward. All those rich old hippie musicians in their castles need to put their money where their values are. This is shocking, and needs to be remedied by musicians for musicians.
