Brittany Murphy Finally Earns A Paycheck
Every time an out-of-work actress lands a job, an agent gets his wings!
Hasbeen Brittany Murphy has been cast in the upcoming action film The Expendables!
The flick will star writer and director… Sylvester Stallone!
Murphy joins Mickey Rourke, Jason Statham, Jet Li and UFC hot-head Randy Couture in the movie, which follows the story of "a team of mercenaries who head to South America on a mission to overthrow a dictator."
Murphy plays Rourke's gal pal in the movie that began filming in Brazil earlier this week, and get this: The washed up Sin City actress will be stretching her vocal wings with a musical number in one scene.

Yeah they are filming in Brasil. In Rio de Janeiro to be more exact. And the worse is that the press is really amazed because he (Sly) picked a brasilian actress (a real bad one) to join the cast. Well…let's wait and see.

I have to say, you are really off with this one. While honestly, I've really never been impressed with any of Brittany Murphy's film roles, her role as LuAnne on King of the Hill is commendable. King of the Hill is one of the most honest and decent shows out there, and also one of the most underrated. Brittany Murphy has dedicated many years to providing the voice of LuAnne, and for you to call her an out of work actress is plain ignorant and offensive.
