      Alright, Texas is not a "bigoted" state. Just like any other state, it has rascists, assholes, morons, and generally bad people, so don't act like thats all we are down here. She is someone who most people in Texas haven't even heard of because she doesn't matter. She's a nobody. She comes from some tiny town in north Texas. Its on the news down here and has tons of people pissed off. The vast majority of the state does not share her sentiments. In fact, the Asian population is only 3.3% of the residents of this state. So, I really don't see why its even an issue.

      It's very ignorant for you to generalize all Texans, if you had read my previous comment you would know that here in Houston, Texas we have a very large population of Asian people and even have a large area of town referred to as Chinatown where the street signs are written in Chinese, everyone in the city loves it and has no problems pronouncing the various hot spots for great fresh, live seafood or names for that matter. We have a Houston Asian Heritage Tour just for tourists, beautiful japanes gardens and the Jade Buddha Temple which is beautiful. 'Houston, the fourth largest city in the United States, has the biggest Asian population in the South". So, Texas does celebrate your culture and many asian businesses thrive here, remember that before you start generalizing us as a bunch of idiots who need Hooked On Phonics.

      We also have some amazing churches for almost every ethnicity by the way, and happen to be an axtremely diverse city. Many Asian Texans that I know would take great offense to you calling them bigots and would deeply disagree with your generalized statement. What I see on a day to day basis living in Houston is an extreme amount of various ethnicities, and an amazingly friendly atmosphere surrounding them. I find it to be quite beautiful and heart-warming and NOT bigoted at all!
