Octo-Mom Wants To Trade In Her Food Stamps For Welfare!

Octo-Mom and desperation go together like LOLhan and Coca-Cola, but Nadya Suleman is seriously scraping at the bottom of the barrel!

Octopussy is considering going on welfare, y'all!

For reals!!!!!!!!

"If I need to apply for (the Women, Infants and Children program) to provide my babies with formula, then I'm going to," the mother of 14 informed reporters on Wednesday.

The Octo-Mom says one month of formula for the newborns runs her around $2,000 and to be ineligible for welfare, Suleman would have to make over $112,480 by the end of June.

Although the expenses for 14 children are understandably high, Suleman has been spotted recently indulging multiple shopping sprees at MAC Cosmetics and Toys 'R Us!

And Octo-Crazy has the audacity to complain about not having enough money for baby formula????

You're not fooling us!

Speaking of, Suleman is attempting to care less about what we the public thinks of her shortcomings!

Says the Octo-Mom: "I have to let go of what people think. I can't live like that."

Why continue airing your dirty laundry to the press, then????

WIC is not welfare. WIC eligibility is determined by household size and income. Many working families who are not eligible for welfare (food stamps, cash assistance, medical assistance) are eligible for WIC. Two completely different things.

Re: classyB – Thanks for clarifying that point… WIC is not welfare, and those babies need to eat, regardless of how crazy the mom is..

      Re: classyB
Not that I am on her side or anything, but….are you saying that if anyone is on WIC they shouldn't get makeup or anything for themselves? Or is it just because it is her. My husband is in the military, and one of the wives I know is on WIC for formula for her one kid because nearly $30 for a small can of the formula he needs (special formula because he was way early and has digestive issues) is way to much to spend on at least 3 cans a week, so are you saying that she as well shouldn't be spending money on anything but her baby?

    5. 105

Last time I checked WIC is NOT welfare…. Food Stamps is. I love you Perez but please get your fact straights before you blog.

    6. 106

To clear things up about WIC - it is a grant that is given to the states by the federal government and is considered a health care program NOT a welfare program. When compiling statistics for people on welfare, WIC participants are not included. Food Stamps is, however, welfare and would not be traded in for WIC since many people who are on Food Stamps and Cash Aid are also on WIC.

STOP REPORTING ON THE OCTOMOM, JUST STOP!!

    8. 108

FUCK ME, she looks like a monster in this picture.
I swear, it looks like lazer beams are about to shoot out her eyes.
      Fuck.

    9. 109

Wonder how long before they take her children away from her? The Kids deserve something better that being with her, it would seem.

    10. 110

I dont think she should have those kids. I dont think the kids should be seperated either though. It would be close to impossable for someone else to take on all 14 kids, they would be in the same situation that the attention whore is in. Unless like 3 or 4 couples all got together to take care of all the kids.

    11. 111

WIC isn't just based on your financial situation it's mainly based on the childs health history and is approved if there is reason to believe that they are lacking nutrition.

    12. 112

WE SHOULD NEVER EVER AS TAX PAYERS BE MANDATED TO PAY FOR DERANGED IGNORANCE!!
THis is such a WRONG scenario - if i lived in CA I would lobby for change, this is WRONG to support this person who steals from california residents/taxpayers
she should be jailed for being a moron, should have kept her inheritance to support the litter she had prior to this one… does anyone see this shizzz??? why isnt some gov or judge saying/doing something here??? this is so blatantly WRONG

    13. 113

um the program wic and welfare are not the same thing you idiot
      That is not welfare.

    14. Laxer says – reply to this

      114

Seriously, I would rather see AIG executives get bonuses than to subsidize this wingnut. Take the kids away and put them in healthy, loving homes. I will agree to taxpayer subsidizing of a C-section.

    15. 115

FYI Perez, WIC is not welfare. Food Stamps, however, is welfare. Dumbass. :)

    16. 116

while formula and baby items are available at Toys r us they are so at a premium. these items can be purchased for far less at say wal-mart or k-mart. the thought of how to pay for formula and such perhaps should have been thought out before going through the effort to create and deliver 8 children at one time. it just doesn't seem as though she has made one responsible decision in the matter of her family yet. Also, while I don't think you should deprive yourself of all of the things that make you feel normal after becoming a new mom, M.A.C. cosmetics aren't affordable to all people and covergirl costs only 3-4 dollars a bottle. If it's good enough for people who don't accept or qualify for government assistance, it should be for those who are requesting it.

    17. 117

This is so stupid, get over it. No one is going to give them more love than their own mother. Get over yourselves. Who cares about welfare. It is a flawed system and always has been. We give ppl that shit all the time, but some how she is the exceptions. You need to be getting on to all the rest on welfare as well.
