I watched about 30 seconds and changed the channel. I don't like the concept and how it's like The Office(don't like that show either). 30 Rock is better, she should go on that show or back to SNL this show will be canceled soon and Amy Poehler is funny though but this show is a bad idea.

I just watched it on my TIVO. It wasn't great but it wasn't that bad either. I laughed pretty hard when she fell into the pit. Can't wait to see what kind of a park that hole becomes. I'll give it a few more episodes before I decide if it's a keeper.

Third? It was sandwiched between two new episodes of The Office, and it was in the same block as 30 Rock. Third sounds great to me. It's from the same people who made the office, and it's pretty obvious given how similar her character is to Michael Scott so far, but not nearly as funny as it probably can be in the future. Give it a chance. The Office was great last night!

How did your new network show do Mario? Oh, that's right, you don't have one and your 4th rate basic cable show flopped. The ratings for this new show were identical to 30 Rock, so try again.
It was really hard to watch. I turned it off after 10 minutes. Really bad.
Perez…Perez…Perez. You obviously dont really know anything about the ratings. Tina Fey's 30 Rock took a full season and a half to catch on and still underperforms aside the office. And if you had taken the time to research it, instead of just deciding to throw up some Amy Poehler bashing to fill a spot on your website, you would know that Parks and Recreation actually tied CBS for first in the hugely important 18-49 demo. That means it was actually pretty successful. You dont need the most viewers to have a successful show.
Hate to point this out perez that though 30 Rock is hailed by the critics and wins awards it too brings in next to no viewers.
I really like Amy Poehler, but the show just looked boring - I didn't get the whole "parks" concept.
Give her a CHANCE! "The Office's" rating sucked ass when it first came out–
it's not that she's "no tina fey"….its that the show is exactly like the office…you can only have one mockumentary at a time—not to mention they had the two shows on back to back…itd probably do better if it were reformatted–or at least on a different night

i guess some people are just hard to please or don't understand any sort of irony the writers write into the story.
as for the thick ankles…
she obviously filmed this RIGHT after having her baby. you can even tell in the stomach area.
she was really really skinny before…she probably hasn't lost all of the weight

Don't be so quick to judge..30 Rock did not have good ratings when it began (it still kinda doesn't) but it went on to win many awards..amy and her show are getting emmy buzz already

It was just like the office. Her character was sort of dumb like Steve Carell's. I was so dissappointed.
i LOVED IT. its a special kind of humor. i love how its narrated and everytime someone left the room, they would talk shit on each other. its real. and its funny. im going to keep watching
I *love* Rashida Jones, but this was the worst sitcom I've suffered through in years. I say bring back Kath & Kim - at least Selma Blair is funny.
I watched the show and didn't really care for it but I love Amy and will give it another couple weeks before I make up my mind. It's set up like "The Office" where the actors are followed by cameras and they talk to the people filming. It took me a while to accept "The Office" so I'm hoping Amy's show will hang in there. Heaven forbid we actually have something on TV that's not a stupid reality show.

Not a fair comment….30 Rock has never been a ratings winner, in fact, it probably did worse than Amy's in its initial season. I am not a real fan of what I have seen…way too much like The Office. All those creative people and tons of dollars and this is the best they could do?
actually perez those numbers is not bad. i mean the show face stiff competition to survivor and bones. plus the show casts "are not so famous" except for amy poehler and rashida jones.

Not that I'm a huge fan of this show either, or Amy Poehler for that matter. It's a bit redundant to air this show the same night as The Office when, let's be honest, they're the same fucking show. However, Perez…30 Rock received terrible ratings in the beginning (and they're still not all that impressive). Fey has a lot of pull at NBC, I'm not sure how who or whom she had to blow and for how long to earn such high esteem from her peers, but she's still on the air and further still…she's being commended for churning out dogshit week after week. Women who think they're funny simply aren't.
