Britney Spears is a wanted woman!
As the pop star gets set to return home to perform two sold out shows in Los Angeles this week, a lawyer is trying to get her to court to testify in a case againt him.
Jon Eardley is the attorney who claims that Brit Brit hired him to try and undo her conservatorship. He's filed legal papers demanding that Spears appear at a trial in which Eardley has been accused of harassing Britney and her family.
In the court docs, Eardley notes that Britney will be performing at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on April 16 and 17. He says if she's well enough to perform, she's well enough to testify on two points — did she authorize Eardley to take legal action on her behalf and did Eardley really cause her "substantial emotional distress."
He does bring up a good point - if she's well enough to entertain thousands of people and lipsynch and dance the night away, then she can answer a few questions, right?
The judge will have to decide if Brit Brit is competent enough to testify and if it's fair to drag her into court.

1st she's not well enough to perform… i think that has been made obvious over and over in just the past week alone…2nd, if she was mentally stable to perform then yes she should be made to testify because he probably asked to do so by her, but jamie probably caught wind of it and pulled the plug on that real fast…3rd i think that she should be able to have her own lawyers if she wants to repeal the conservatorship..not that she needs to be on her own, but she should have the same rights that anyone else has…4th, i think that she needs prayers that she does recover, because this is really sad she is so young and has 2 babies that need a mother thats able to take care of them and herself.
Let's hope he has something in the form of a "contract" to prove she retained him. Wishful thinking doesn't count!

This lawyer, Jon Eardley, was reported months earlier in the press to be all tied in with Sam Lufti and Adnan Ghalib. In my opinion, these vultures are still trying to pick the carcass. Tell me; how can you bring legal, legal action if you are under a conservatorship? The bees are still going wild at the smell of her money, and are still trying to enter the hive, but the hive is not theirs to enter, thanks to her family circling the wagons around her.

I'm guessing that the fact that she is seen by the courts to need a conservator will protect her from being compelled to testify. They can't say that she isn't competent to make her own decisions then ask for testimony. That would put the competency ruling on shaky ground, no judge would take that risk. This is aside from the validity of testimony from someone the courts already see as incompetent. You can be pretty damn wacky and still "function" as a pop star. Witness: most of them.

I wish that at this point her father and SO MANY others would step back and let her see if she can do it on her own I was an addict/depressed person at one point in my exsistance and I at some point after I stropped using and got on my feet had to tell everyone to STOP let me at least try to do it on my own just too see if I could without drugs and without getting depressed and ya know what I fell off the wagon twice but it didnt take long for me to realize I liked life so much better sober and in control so let her do it on her own let her fall I think you'll see she can do it without ALL of us pushing her along

As far as adding dates goes, I doubt her Dad or tour managers would even contemplate doing that unless they had discussed it to her, being that you can lead a horse to water, but can't force it to drink. All big touring musicians have a large posse to support, stable or not, so in this case I'm just glad it's her own family at the helm. She is so wealthy that I think it's long since ceased to be about the cash. Her father is a chef, and cooks love to cook, and I'm sure he didn't envision this as his career. That being said, he does it because once a father, always a father, and your kids have to come first. Good parents sacrifice their wants and needs if their kids are in trouble.
