What the hell is it that incites such hostility at Chuck E Cheese's?
Something in the soda pop?
At a restaurant in Philadelphia, a child was hurt when a fight broke out between two women.
Witnesses say that the restaurant was particularly crowded when one woman threw a salt and pepper shaker at another, who responded by launching a chair back.
Wait, isn't it the kids who ought to be pulling shiz like this?
This latest incident in the City of Brotherly Love is just one more in a string of violent outbreaks at the pizza franchise.

we have discussed this before-half the parents sit in the 'restaurant' and use the place as a babysitter. Their 'precious' either get picked on or most likely bully and ripped off other kids. Being the little boy lover you are Mario, just assumed you have been in a Chuck E cheese. One a semi busy day you can't move or breathe, never mind on a holiday week-hot, over crowded, costly-tempers flare, and that is the grownups. do you really think the parents want to be there?

I lived in and around Philly for seven looooong years. At first I loved it, the diversity, the food, the history, etc. But, day after day, the news reports of theft, violence, and murder ratio make you realize what an angry city Philly is. Its no wonder thousands have left over the past few years. "Brotherly Love" for anyone outside your "group" does not exist. Its all a facade to get tourists to visit the downtown historical area….god help those that leave that area and don't have street smarts. At least in NYC you KNOW what you're getting into.

Plus, from what I have heard South Philadelphia is known for being an extremely violent area. Also, according to the census of 2007 - there are 16000 more black people in Philadelphia than white. Years ago I was at a Chuck E Cheese in Minnesota with my friends. We were going home and when we got to the car there was some guy looting it. He got upset and punched me so hard in the face I got 23 stitches. Chuck E Cheese has always been a violent place. I think it's because it's so surreal inside that you have to fight your way back into a normal existence. That place is whack! And not in a good way.
This goes way back - in 1993 my husband's friend's brother was killed at a Chuck E Cheese where he worked.
DENVER — The man convicted of killing four people at a pizza restaurant in 1993 lost another round in his battle to avoid execution on Monday when the Colorado Supreme Court rejected his claim that his legal defense was ineffective.
The justices ordered that the trial court set a date for Nathan J. Dunlap's execution.
Dunlap's attorney, Philip Cherner, said he would ask the court to reconsider. If that fails, Cherner said, he will launch an appeal through the federal courts.
"We believe our appeal has merit and we will eventually prevail," he said.
Dunlap, 33, was convicted in 1996 of shooting five people at a Chuck E Cheese restaurant in suburban Aurora when he was 19. Four of the victims died.
Dunlap was convicted of first-degree murder, attempted murder, robbery, theft and burglary for the Chuck E Cheese shootings on Dec. 14, 1993.
Employees Sylvia Crowell, 19; Benjamin Grant, 17; Margaret Kohlberg, 50; and Colleen O'Connor, 17, were shot to death.
Bobby Stephens survived and later identified Dunlap as the murderer.
Dunlap was a former employee of the restaurant.
Chuck E Cheese should be dubbed GHETTO KIDDIE WORLD. I'd like to consider myself civilized, but this place will bring the worst out of people. I had to leave the place once escorted by cops because a group of girls looking for fights…simply because it was my daughter's turn on a ride and one of those chicks jumped in….I protested and immediately they ganged up on me….I was even w' Mom visiting from PR and my Mom almost ended up fighting too… However, the manager noticed what was going on and simply made a choice…get the trash out…which is what he did…. Of course the trash didnn't take it well and stood outside waiting for us…so the manager called the cops…. Never did I go back to that place…..
They need to shut that place down!

South Philly is not a great place to do anything with your kids ever! Once my friend took her son to an Eagles
game and he was a fan of the other team so he wore their jersey and the Philly fans berated him until he was in tears and never wanted to go to another game again.
