Even WORSE NEWS For General Motors!

Already on the brink of filing for bankruptcy, carmaker GM has just issued a recall for 1.5 million vehicles because of potential engine fires.
ome of the recalled vehicles are no longer in production. The recall includes the 1998-1999 Oldsmobile Intrigue, the 1997-2003 Pontiac Grand Prix, 1997-2003 Buick Regal, and the 1998-2003 Chevrolet Lumina, Monte Carlo and Impala.
It involves vehicles with a 3.8-liter V6 engine. The government says drops of oil could fall into the exhaust system and cause a fire in the engine.

This happened to our Buick Regal two weeks before Thanksgiving. GM strung us along up until about six weeks ago. They were awful about it. GM finally called us and said that they didn't have to do anything about it because of some law in Colorado and California but they would give us a check for $1,400. In hindsight, I wish we had said, "No thanks, give us the car back." We would then have parked it across from the GM dealership with lots of signs and called the local media. I bet we would have been reimbursed for the entire damages then.

My husband and I have owned GM products for years. Never had a problem. A Saturn, Tahoe and Equinox in the garage now. My first was a 1988 Blazer. Never had any major problems. Mario blow it out your ass. You might like that. All of the car manufacturers are in trouble. By the way I had huge problems with a Mustang. I am still a loyal GM owner.
Good riddance. I finally feel like I'm getting some revenge for the bullshit they put me through when I lost my job and asked to make alternate arrangements so that I could pay them back. No sympathy or help whatsoever… just pay now or lose your car. They took the car back, left me stranded 50 miles from home and ruined my credit rating for 7 years.
I hope they die a quick and agonizing death.
