Wow, sounds good, is at a single though or just an album track bought to help promote "basketball"? I love green day, all of their stuff, sure i started to listen to them with american idiot, but i hate blvd and most of their hits from that era, Nimrod and Dookie are far better.

I agree with Duckie. They'd sell a lot more copies if it were political. Just imagine the selection of political enemies they could have chosen from. Anyway, the tune is catchy so this years NBA theme song should be a no brainer.

What all you idiots fail to understand is that this premiered last Monday during the NCAA Men's Final, hence the "basketball theme." This is neither the full song nor the actual video, which will premiere April 24 @ 8PM on MTV, MTV2, and a bunch of other music channels. Perhaps you could add those little details, Perez.

Re: KariD20 – i agree that this whole "Green Day have sold out" shit is getting really old. Green Day have gotten older and their music has grown with them. and I agree American Idiot was a fantastic album that reflected how many people felt at the time of its release. Dookie represented a different time and life for the guys of Green Day and itd be pretty sad if, after 20 years, they were still releasing albums about masturbating. people need to get over the fact that Green Day will never release another Dookie and stop bitching about it.
