German Pop Singer Arrested For Infecting Partner With HIV
Um, wow.
Nadja Benaissa, of the popular German girl group No Angels, has been arrested for allegedly having unprotected sex with several partners and neglecting to tell them that she is HIV positive.
At least one man has contracted the virus from her!
She was arrested in Frankfurt on Saturday, just before a solo performance, and has remained in custody since then because of the possibility that she may repeat her offense.
If found guilty of the charges of "causing grievous bodily harm," Benaissa could face up to 10 years in prison.
