Listen To This: Power Pop Makes You Go Grrrr!!!!

Love this!

Her name is Tina Parol. And although she has an unfortunate name - can she change that? - this new artist has a fabulous song out called Who's Got Your Money?

It's super sunny and fun. The tune reminds us of early Nelly Furtado circa Whoa, Nelly!.

A great pop song has you singing along the first time you hear it and Who's Got Your Money? definitely accomplishes that.

Congrats Tina!

    OMG I LOVE IT!

  27. 27

CAN I GET A MOTHA FUCK*n WHA WHA? I know this girl personally, we went toschool together too, don't be fooled. I am actually pretty dissapointed that Perez even mentioned Tina Parol, let alone commend her on this song. Reasons why?: * ONE OF MANY. This song blows, and the co-writers prob do too, cause I know Parol didn't write this solo. Peace and love. xoxo

  28. 28

OMG I effing LOOVE Tina Parol! I'm so glad that you've featured her, Perez! This song has been on repeat in my car for daayysss….Keep it going, Tina!!!

  29. 29

Good enough voice, but the accent sounds a bit put on?
Song's ok, not something to write home about.

  30. 30

Her voice reminds me of Angel Taylor's voice (www.myspace.com/angeltaylor) whom I love! :)

  31. 31

I thought that was Juliette Lewis

  32. 32

aaaaaaaactually, she reminds me of lily allen.. HAHA!! oh yes. your fave.

  33. 33

I thought this was natilie portman! i was like , this doesnt look like a pose natalie usually does, and i read the tilte and was like, oh natalies got an album out now? i didnt even know she could sing. anyway i listened to about 15 secs of the song and turned it off. YUCK!

  34. 34

    WEEEE

  35. 35

I went to school with her too! She's awesome! love you Tina!

  36. 36

She's the girl who wrote "Rock Boy" for Britney, right?

  37. 37

Re: Provider – yeah she wrote that and she's written for other singers too i think

  38. 38

    I like this, P.! :)

  39. 39

Remember that song by Vanessa Carlton? Her only other song besides the walking 1000 miles one? White Houses? It sounds just like White Houses, except without piano. Is there piano? I only listened to the first 10 seconds of this shitty shitty bang bang.

  40. 40

L##King at her fingers in the picture it looks as if sahe is getting ready to show off her little rack?

  41. 41

Oh wow, another anti-boy song where the poor, victimized heroine seeks revenge by attacking the boy's wallet and inadequacies. How fresh and original! Move over Beyonce, we have another girl with a deep message to convey! Do you girls EVER get tired of being a martyr?? Grow some skin, or, more importantly, grow UP and move on with your lives!

PS - It's always nice to get repeated confirmation about what a girls are *really* after; money, jewelry, and all those other material things. Ever think that maybe if you put down your crown of self-entitlement for a second and focused a little more on the relationship instead of yourself and what you can get out of the guy, that maybe he'd stop looking elsewhere for someone who WASN'T such a be-otch and/or money-grubbing princess??

  42. 42

    love it!

  43. 43

We're already heard this song!!!… about 7 years ago, anyone remember blu cantrell "Hit 'em up style"?

  44. 44

I think some of you are thinking way into it. It's a pop song, it's catchy no one is forcing you to listen to it. It's funny how some of your opinions are how songs like this ruin music, but yet your checking out Perez' site. Let's be honest with ourselves for a second. Take a closer listen, she does not sound a fraction like Avril. For the deep guy upset about girls wanting money and jewels, I really don't believe this TINA wrote this song in aspiration for it to represent WOMAN or herself, i think it's just a funny song that is corresponding directly to our economy.

    Let loose a little people.

  45. 45

I love this song.. i can't seem to get it out of my head :)

  46. 46

    Love it!!

  47. 47

It's fine and all, but it definitely doesn't sound like Nelly Furtado, ever.

  48. 48

    I love it!!
