Wino's Collaboration With Gorillaz Pisses Off Universal!

Execs at Universal have just about had it with Wino!
The label threw bags of money Amy's way so the singer could return to St Lucia and finally record the promised follow-up to Back To Black, an album Universal has been waiting years for Amy to record!
The label flipped their shiz when they found out instead of dedicating time to the new record, Wino has been dabbling in the studio with Damon Albarn's virtual rock project Gorillaz!!
"Imagine how they felt when they realized she had agreed to work with Gorillaz? They couldn't believe it," a source from the label bitched to reporters.
"It's an unnecessary distraction. They think she should invest all her energy in her own music. She should be knuckling down and delivering the goods."
To add fuel to the fire, Gorillaz are represented by Universal's rival, EMI!
Winehouse is said to be outraged at her label's protest to the collaboration but how can Wino even complain when her trip is on Universal's dime???

Besides the fact that she has a serious drug problem, Amy is a great artist. However, she has lost her Mojo with all the Drama… I think Universal should be happy she is getting back into music at all. She has had a tough year and needs to get that self-steem boost that making good music brings her..
May be then and ONLY then She can really reach her true potential!
Sue her for the money, then drop her from the label, she is done.

This is the problem with music today. Now it truly is all about bringing in the profits for the fucking record label. If Whinehouse is not compelled to do a solo album right now, then she shouldn't do one, instead of just vomiting up some throwaway shit to be marketed and sold to the masses.

She's being lazy. it's easier to work on someone else's project than work on your own because then it's all about you. Oh well, she's an artist and she can work with who ever will take her as long as she's not breaking contracts. It will only hurt her more in the end anyway.

However, they made bags and bags of money off her album, so they can eat a little. Were they expecting her to hold to an agreement? BTW, I'd love to hear the collaboration.
