Angelina Jolie Announces That Her Next Movie Will Be...
Maleficent!
At least, we think it is! Almost positive, actually!
Angelina Jolie was at the Berlin International Film Festival today, where she is screening her directorial debut, In The Land Of Blood and Honey out of competition, when she announced that the long-rumored project was next up for her - even though she didn't specifically call it by name!
She explains:
"I haven't acted in two years, and I haven't done anything else since this . The next thing I am looking at is a Disney movie. The best thing to find that balance is to do something that is just for children. You know, you find different ways to make things matter. When, for example, you do fun action movies, they are empowering for my daughters."
And since we've gotten word that the Luc Besson movie she had been eyeing seems to have stalled, and Maleficent recently got Robert Stromberg as a director, we think it's safe to say that the Linda Woolverton-written adaptation of the classic fairy tale is definitely where we'll see her next!
So, so cool!

Really, I don't begrudge you. I'm not being sarcastic when I say that. If it's marriage or kids with this guy, I'm glad. At least he cares about you and is kind. There's a laundry list of reasons why you should be with him and the same in reverse for me. It's what was meant to happen. You'll be a very happy woman. Maybe we'll meet up down the road in another capacity. You never know. Maybe at a different time, place and set of circumstances we'd be able to be good to each other. If not, there isn't any point, is there?
Don't count me out yet. I may be giving up on being with you right now, b/c it's the right thing to do, but it doesn't mean we'll never know each other and it doesn't mean I'm giving up on my dreams or on having the life I want. I'm made of stronger stuff than you may realize, you know.
