Candy Spelling, if you really want to mend things with daughter Tori, quit blabbing to the media!
It certainly hasn't gotten Michael Lohan anywhere!
When In Touch Weekly asked Candy how she felt about Tori's sudden dramatic weight loss, she responded that she will always be there for her daughter.
She added, "If she isn't going to step up, I am going to step up. I want my grandchildren in my life, and I want my daughter in my life."
Well, a tabloid is not the way to do it!

Candy deserves to have a relationship with her daughter. As a mother I can sympathize with her, sometimes my children are not the nicest persons in the world to me. But today the children are perfect, it is always the parents who are to blame, how come ? It used to be the exact opposite, why not go back to the middle of the road ? To be fair, Tori has been all over doing interviews, saying things about her mother. She should instead talk to her husband about getting a real job instead of pimping her and her kids on that stupid reality show. I believe it was when she married him, the trouble started with her and her mom. And he does continue to try and keep them apart. If only he was a real man and not some kept lazy%$##.

It was reported differently on other sites. Candy supposedly responded that Tori has always been thin and that she is just back to her "normal" weight. If thats normal I'd hate to see her anorexic.
It must be an age thing. It appears that anybody here who is closer to Tori's age still rebels against parents. It's time to grow up. To be in a relationship takes TWO. Not a silent partner. what did her answer have to do with the question of Tori's weight loss? It just suddenly occurred to Candy that she is going to die alone. Who will she leave her millions to, an animal shelter; I doubt Tori really cares about that. She needs to just shut up. She strikes me as one of those mothers who had little time for her kid and when she did find time to notice her was probably always critical. She was too busy being the wife of a wealthy man.

I would want Candy Spelling to take a parenting course - and a few extra courses in having some class - before she goes near her grandchildren. I completely understand Tori's position.
Candy need to butt out! If Candy wanted a relationship with her daughter she should have done it like every other mother, not fucked off when the going got a little tough! Raise your children and you will probably end up iwth a decent realtionship with them and your grandchildren. Abandon them and they will abandon you when you need them! On the other hand I know children who have been treated extremely badly, neglected, and now that they are adults they simply adore their parents. I have difficulty understanding this. A psy once told me these mistreated children are STILL looking for love from their parents. As for children treated well, they become selfish and brats, not always but often enough. Life is not always fair. We don't know what went on in the Spelling household. Candy seems to be looking for love, which Tori seems to be denying her, unless Candy gives her millions, which she is not allowed to do as she has to respect Mr. Spelling's will.

It's a sad, sad situation. I lost my mother a year and a half ago. I know people who have lost children unexpectedly.
I guess it's all part of the lessons they both will need to learn and probably will the HARD way, as we all usually do.
