Can we say delusional?
Says Norris: "I may run for president of Texas. That need may be a reality sooner than we think. If not me, someone someday may again be running for president of the Lone Star state, if the state of the union continues to turn into the enemy of the state."
The martial arts master believes "thousands of cell groups will be united around the country in solidarity over the concerns for our nation" with Texas leading the fight!
"Anyone who has been around Texas for any length of time knows exactly what we'd do if the going got rough in America," Chuck stated.

Wow….Chuck Norris sounds so delusional. This reminds me strongly of when Tom Cruise though it was a good idea to air his personal opinions publicly. Sometime it's better to just keep that shit to yourself….especially if you still want the public to like and respect you.

PS- I seem to remember an incident where a senator got totally drunk and decided it would be a good idea to drive him and his girlfriend home and promptly drove the car off a bridge and the senator proceeded to free himself, leave his girlfriend, walk to his hotel without stopping for help (which probably directly contributed to the girl's drowning) and got away scot free. That senator was mr. tumor himself teddy kennedy (how's THAT for karma!) and, uh, little fact for ya- he's a liberal.

Even if they hadn't gotten involved the economy is going to suffer right now because of things that big businesses have done, like misleadingly selling investments to people where they were "betting" on poor people being able to pay off their mortgages. We can't go back in time and force the most powerful people in the world (big-time execs) to make ethical decisions . There is nothing that could have been done to prevent the recession…it's a cycle and now we have to go with the flow…I guess the government is hoping to alleviate the situation the best they can, because no matter what we are screwed for the time being
