Retiring! John Madden Says Goodbye

Legendary NFL analyst John Madden is bidding adieu to television!
The 73-year-old Madden has decided he's good and ready to retire from his position as the voice behind NBC's Sunday night football broadcast.
The ex-football coach has worked as an NFL analyst for all four major networks with his career spanning over 30 years!
Madden released a statement on Thursday saying "this is the right time" for him to retire.
Enjoy your retirement, John!

He will come back like Dick Clark did. Dude makes millions off of his video games anyways. And he always sounds trashed when he talks.

Maybe he can retire and take up flying! Become a private pilot and such. Or just help out the aviation industry and help fill up dirigibles….with his mouth.

Being that he won't fly anywhere, I guess he's finally sick of all those bus trips. I've taken the 35 hr Greyhound bus from CT to FLA, that my friends, was not fun.

Football will not be the same this fall. That man knows more about football than just about anyone. I love the Madden & Michaels games. Their conversations are peppered with history and obscure rules. Hope he enjoys retirement.
He will be missed.

I Like John Madden- he is fun to watch/listen to and knows his football up and down, left and right. The only thing I didn't like about him was his endless ass-slurping of that cheating douchebag Tom Brady.
