      I find Susan Boyle so REFRESHING! I ve really grown TIRED up to the extent that I almost stopped listening to any female young singers by all those botoxed-to-death-from20-years-onwards "singers" whose voice has to be "enhanced" to death as well and who got nothing attrractive on them physically cause it s all plastic, silicone and surgery!

      Someone just wrote that it s not just in America that people concentrate so much on outward looks of singers and women in geneal. That s true, but NOWHERE outside America is it really as bad as that! Our German women celebs. e.g. do NOT look all plastic or flawless.

      Some people have simply forgotten what people/women look like at 40 or 50 WITHOUT plastic surgery! Is there some kind of LAW or legislation int he United States that "demands" that women go to the plastic surgeon if they have any bodily imperfections or age? Sometimes I get the impression, judging from afar and from American magazines I read that this is the case!

      People should just RELAX a bit more about looks….and Mrs. Boyle has a really great and touching voice! I don t remember haveng been "touched" by any PERFECTLY looking young singers recently…. :-)

      She s NOT "in dire need" of anything about her looks! However, a lot of people like you are in dire need of a BRAIN and some CHARACTER!

      She s not a model and not modeling so why is there any "need" of a makeover????

      I love her voice, and she does not look as bad as some people say - she s just not had a dozen plastic surgeries by the age of 47 as mist American women - or at least the women of YOUR scene - seem to have had!

      I didn't see a makeover or fancy clothes. She is wonderful, and talented. She just needs a little help with hair, and not even makeup so much as a little plucking of the eyebrows, and boom, shes done. I wouldn't change anything else about her. Her personality is perfect, her voice is wonderful.

      For her next performance Britain's Got Talent, I'd like to recommend that Susan sing something equally as appropriate as was her first set. In light of her makeover, how about Edith Piaf's "Non, je ne regrette rien." That would be a show stopper.
