The series will premiere early 2010 and will document Fantasia's life as an artist and single mother.

According executive vp of original programming at VH1, Jeff Olde, "Her [Fantasia's] challenges from fame and her unwillingness to fail have combined to create a larger-than-life talent who appeals to music lovers around the world. So many people wanted to work with her on this, but Fantasia is now part of the VH1 family, and we're so happy to have her."

Fantasia…yikes. I haven't been able to stomach her since they went to her hometown for American Idol back in the day. Her kid, which she is so proud to be a single mother of, wanted to have a little camera time and fantasia practically knocked her over to get in front of the camera instead.

First of all she does not only sing other people songs…. she has 2 CD's with original music ( I have them both)….. and she got great reviews for The Color Purple on Broadway….. Don't get it twisted….. I know there were rumors that she got fired for missing shows…. but she must have done something right because they asked her back to tour again. Also she and Jennifer Hudson were up for a Grammy for their duet on J Hudson CD.
