DJ AM To Get His Own Show

Finally! MTV will be filming a show not related to, or inspired by, The Hills.
The execs over at Music Television MTV have teamed up with DJ AM to create a new reality show.
The program is tentatively titled, Gone Too Far, will be about staging interventions on young people who are hooked on drugs.
Present during the intervention process will be AM, who's battled his own drug addiction in the past, as well as an addiction specialist.
We're glad they finally have something positive to show on TV and not just the usual Hills fake drama.
But is it just us or does this show sound very similar to the Emmy-nominated A&E show, Intervention?
We're just sayin'!

It does sound a lot like Intervention but they are planning to do something good, so the similarity is welcomed
maybe Lindsay Lohan can be his first intervention!
yeah, because that's EXACTLY what we need-more "reality" TV shows…..good concept i guess…but seriously. ANOTHER one? what happened to real actors and scripts??
or was that just like, soo 5 years ago..hah
He used to date Nichole Ritchie so he probably has tons of experience with intervening, Drugs, Annorexia, etc…

No, it sounds like A&E's show 'INTERVENTION' just sayin'. Maybe Mario, you should watch all of the network tv and just sayin, there are some shows, well, that, are, we are just sayin, are similiar. IT'S AMAZING PEREZ!!!! some shows, even have the same beginnings-CSI, SVU-you think they might be SIMILIAR???? NOTHING IS ORIGINAL ANYMORE ON TV.

I think it is really sad that this guy survived a terrible plane crash, is suing the dead pilots families, and is now trying to behave like some kind of a do gooder. Punk is a money junkie.. those pilots died saving his uneducated hide and all that the little drama queen can do is sue their families and whine about surviving….
