Fall Out Boy Concert Banned In Florida!
Fall Out Boy have been banned from performing in Boca Raton, FL!
Pete Wentz and his band of hooligans are squeaky clean compared to most, so why the ban???
"There have been known disturbances associated with one of the bands, 'Fall Out Boy.' We anticipate that the concert will generate security challenges," the city of the rich and old proclaimed in a statement issued Thursday.
But Fall Out Boy's manager, Bob McLynn, is calling BS on the "disturbances associated" with the group!
"I’m not sure what these ‘challenges’ are that they are speaking of… The town said that if we tried to keep the show on we would have to pay an extraordinary amount of money in extra costs," says McLynn.
Never fear, the group's upcoming concert at Mizner Amphitheater has been relocated to the Pompano Beach Amphitheater for the same night.

I've been to a few shows at Mizner - super rich & snotty area and the old farts can't handle regular people being near them while they shop and dine outdoors. Fuckin' Boca bitches!!

I live a 1/4 at most from the Mizner Amphitheater and any time a well-known band comes to town, all of Boca's kids use that excuse to come out with the beer they stole out of mommy and daddy's fridge and the pot they got from their older brother's dealer and have a good ol' time.
Also, Mizner Amphitheater is relatively small. The whole of Mizner Park is really not all that big, to be honest. Parking is HELL when a major band plays there. There's only 3 or 4 parking garages and it is no easy feat to find a parking spot when you have hundreds of kids as well as people just trying to go to dinner all trying to find a parking spot. Trust me, been there, done that, don't ever want to do it again. I can see where Boca is coming from when they say "disturbances".
I used to work for the City of Boca Raton and I know a lot of the "big wigs", I guess you could call them. They're not being old-fogies and banning them just to be jerks. They're just thinking logically and using common sense. The extra money FOB would have to pay would probably be for extra security to keep a handle on the crowd and probably for parking services.
Anywho - not really a big loss in my book. FOB is just… not good, in my opinion. At least I've been spared having to listen to their annoyingness and 13 year old girls screaming (yes, I can hear everything from my house).
Boca Raton is afraid that Pete Wentz might attempt his watch-me-drink-my-own-pee trick again.

Thats so stupid!! there are lots of people out there that would love to see them play! many concerts do get out of hand but thats what makes them fun!!! And i dont see them banning anyone else!!!!
My dad has a condo there. That concert would have been fun. Nice place but i don't see any harm in the Fall Out Boy! Seen some hardcore concerts in the day. They are a walk in the park.

I live down the street from mizner park and the ampitheather and have attended alot of the concerts there. Their has never been any major issue, the city of Boca Raton can be very stuffy at times and put weird restrictions on certain things.
