Redmond O'Neal, the son of Farrah Fawcett and Ryan O'Neal, will not be going to prison after all!
WTF???????
The dumbass has two felony drug possessions on his record, but Friday morning a Los Angeles Superior Court Judge transfered his cases to a court that will send the drug-addled O'Neal to a rehab facility instead of behind bars!
This will be his fourth trip to rehab - the last being only earlier this month!
O'Neal was booted from the rehab facility due to "a dirty test"!
Thankfully, the Judge said Redmond manages to eff up his fourth go-around at rehab, he's going straight to prison!
Will the 4th time be the charm???

In L.A., more than anywhere, $$$ talks. William Bratton's police dept. should be ashamed that this kid keeps getting wrist slaps for his problem. Don't get me wrong; I like and admire the police. Many of my pals sons *are* cops…but there is no justice on the Left Coast. I saw that when OJ walked.

It will only be the charm if he's hit bottom. Sometimes it takes going to prison to make people see the light. Going to prison was Robert Downey Jr.'s AH HA! moment.
As for his mom being sick, ADDICTION isn't something you put on and take off at will. The drug doesn't care that his mom is sick. I'm sure there are some people who wrote Downey off too. He had a total meltdown several times in public and yet he didn't get off the drugs. I hope Redmond does get off them before he dies, but that isn't something we can know at this point one way or the other.

Unfortunately, I've seen worse in NY. An extended member of the fam has just done his second stint in jail for drug related charges…and got sentenced to 6 months in rehab (his 4th or 5th rehab? lost count). He should face more time but the cops turned a blind eye for family issues. He has been arrested at least 5 times and has done horrible things to the family - not to mention himself (at least 3 almost fatal overdoses).
Good! Nobody should go to jail for drug possession.

I went to school with wealthy white kids who did the same thing and just get slaps on the wrist or it gets swept under the rug because god forbid people know the shame of going to jail to actually PAY for their mistakes, I agree if he were poor or a minority he would have been locked up long ago for less.
