Angelina Jolie Announces That Her Next Movie Will Be...
Maleficent!
At least, we think it is! Almost positive, actually!
Angelina Jolie was at the Berlin International Film Festival today, where she is screening her directorial debut, In The Land Of Blood and Honey out of competition, when she announced that the long-rumored project was next up for her - even though she didn't specifically call it by name!
She explains:
"I haven't acted in two years, and I haven't done anything else since this . The next thing I am looking at is a Disney movie. The best thing to find that balance is to do something that is just for children. You know, you find different ways to make things matter. When, for example, you do fun action movies, they are empowering for my daughters."
And since we've gotten word that the Luc Besson movie she had been eyeing seems to have stalled, and Maleficent recently got Robert Stromberg as a director, we think it's safe to say that the Linda Woolverton-written adaptation of the classic fairy tale is definitely where we'll see her next!
So, so cool!

Perez, I know you don't read these comments because if you did you would see that people who put you on the map by checking out your website are getting seriously pissed off by you constantly ramming your lateset deals with the devil down our throat. Your consumers are getting sick of your product, becuase you changed it in the pursuit of $$$$$$$$$$$$ and celebrity. If you lose your base then all of that will go away, and the same people who court you will spit you out because you already make them sick but theyre after the $$$$$$$$$$ too, only they have real talent to back it up, not a website with tumbleweeds blowing thru it. Think of the bigger picture and leave the ads to the banners, no more Gaga kaka, or previews or sneak views. Dude you ARE Speidi! WISE UP!
