Zac Efron's new movie, 17 Again, is the #1 film in America.

The pic debuted to big numbers on Friday, taking in approx. 9.4 million.

The flick is expected to make $25-30 mill this weekend.

Zacquisha can open a movie by himself. Now it's all about the projects he picks next!

      I was never really fond of him until I started seeing some of the different photo shoots and movies he was doing, now he's got more depth to me than the Disney movie disaster. I really can't wait to see 17 again :)

      Too bad the reviews say this movie sucks. I guess they are lucky there are so many tweens that love him, not to mention the FAT GAY PERVS like you Mario that will see it again and again and then beat off at home thinking of him.

      This tool was actually growing on me until I saw the interview where he said he'd eat "anything" once and that included a whole mini-octopus at a sushi bar and it "popped in his mouth". That is just disgusting and if he'd eat "anything" once, I'm thinking that includes your ween as well, P. Just the thought of it makes me need a PBR 20 oz sixer. SWEET JESUS!!!

      This movie grossed $9.4 MILLION. That is a so-so, mediocre performance, especially when you factor in that it opend on 3255 screens - that works out to a paltry $2907 per screen.

      Compare it to Hannah Montana, which earned $17,436,000 on its first day ($5,592 per screen average). And Fast and Furious, which has $30,560,000 on its first day ($8,830 per screen average.

      Yes Perez, it was the number one movie as expected. It had no major competition and it was expected to do well with the tweens. Miley's movie did do much better though last weekend….Zac did not prove that he could carry a film on his own…….he has stuck to the same Disney formula…..he did not attempt to appeal to an older crowd or to challenge himself as an actor!

      In fact, "Hannah Montana The Movie" is doing even better than the first Miley Cyrus movie (Best of Both Worlds), which made $65 million overall.
