What we do
Find out how we work with others to end poverty and injustice, from campaigning to responding to emergencies.
Why we do it
We believe that respect for human rights will help lift people out of poverty.

This site sux, Perez is a homocidal IDIOT. I wish i didn't have to keep coming here to post how much this site blows but its the only way you people will learn (if ever). I doubt you will. The Homosexual Mafia will come to an end soon. We have been forced to tolerate your disgusting behavior for TOO LONG. Prepare yourself. This site sux, Perez is a homocidal IDIOT. Oxfam sucks.
They ship off tiny defenseless live animals to third world countries, only to be killed.
I love Oxfam! Oxfam America is the affliliate here in the US. Their link is www.oxfamamerica.org. Check them out!
Yeah, send your money to Oxfam. Send most of it to Oxfam America so they can buy everyone new Blackberries, new laptops, and dual monitor setups. What a crock of crap they are. I might actually consider it if the last few Oxfam demonstrators I'd seen weren't all carrying 1500 or more in brand new electronics.
I work for Oxfam America, and the staff all work incredibly hard. Since Oxfam is entirely run by private donations, why don't you write to Oxfam to tell them you are uncomfortable donating because of what you have seen of spending habits?
Though those electronics are generally shared within the office, and borrowed for large events — so no, employees do not have their own personal laptop. It is impossible in this day and age to run such a huge organization without that support.
