Kara Might Vote Herself Off Of American Idol

Kara DioGuardi's Idol future isn't looking too bright!
The experimental fourth judge doesn't seem to mesh on the already dramz-filled AI set, with Simon Cowell constantly criticizing her and Paula Abdul whispering behind her back. An Idol source told OK! that Kara is tired of being everyone's "punching bag" and is ready to quit.
Apparently, Kara spends most of the commercial breaks moping around craft services while the rest of the judges flirt with audience members and celebrity guests.
In one playground incident, "Ryan asked if Kara thought she was looking at the 'right' bottom three [contestants], and she said, 'Yes, although I love them all.'" To which, according to an onlooker, Simon muttered under his breath that Kara did not in fact love them, causing Kara to "fire back, 'Don’t tell me who to love!'"
After that, Simon pulled Kara's hair and Kara cried and Simon was put on a time out.
Even though it seemed like Abdrool was going to be voted off the show, it now looks like Kara might receive the boot should the producers decide to scrap the unpopular four judge format.
And, according to the insider, Kara would not mind leaving because "she has achieved too much in the rock music world — a business dominated by men — to allow herself to stay in a job where she’s not appreciated. It’s demeaning and a waste of her time and talent. No one would be surprised if she tells the producers to take this job and shove it."

Perez you bought the "act" hook, line and sinker! Viewers love the banter between the judges and FYI - Kara knows what she is talking about. The only one that needs to go is Simon. He's either dead on or dead off with his BS, mostly off. His comments are self serving in his needy desire to be the center of attention.

i like kara, the other judges are just being bitches because they know one of them would be nxt to get booted off… Kara offers a great oppinion due to her experience she is nice like paula but isn't afraid to say how she rly feels thats a problem with paula though she is nice she is pretty much ALWAYS nice and its like annoying

Considering Kara is the only judge who currently has 3 songs in the top 10 on the ACTUAL radio currently maybe they should stop bashing her . . . just jealousy on behalf of the other 3 in my opinion. Things were find before Idol went on air live and ego got in the way. Kara wrote the theory of a deadman song, the kelly clarkson song AND the pink song that are currently in heavy rotation. In addition Paula had Kara living with her when she came from New York. Now that she may be more popular Paula has turned on her. Pretty catty if you ask me!!

Last season was great, but this season sucks in every way. Kara is growing on me, but the 4 judge format has to go. Randy is pretty useless, they should dump him instead of Kara or Paula.

Glad to see I'm not the only one who likes Kara. There are a few of us out there who appreciate her. I think she's a breath of fresh air to the show and has real time experience. Lately Paula tries to show off by using insider vocal lingo and it's LAAAAME! Oh, and it's only when she can put a decent sentence together. Dump the chump (Paula or Randy)!

What's unfortunate is that Kara actually gives the BEST advice out of all of them. Yeah, Simon is spot on 95% of the time, but he has no musical advice to offer. Randy and Paula give nothing.

I actually like kara alot as a judge. She actually knows what she is talking about when she judges unlike some of the other judges and she seems like alot of fun. Simon always gives the other judges a hard time too that's just how he is. I dont know if i believe all these rumors about them not getting along. They seem so friendly on camera.
Re: Purple Stiletto – really, she has more music knowledge than Randy and Paula. Randy played backup on a few shows for a few episodes and he never failed to name drop and name drop -notice that he doesn't do it this year. Paula had a few hits 25 years ago. The only ones I would listen to would be Kara and Simon. Notice how it is broken up when advice is given -if it was randy and paula -those contestants would get mainly fluff-think it might be the wrong song but cute outfit!!!!!

Ha ha ha ha, nicely put-They are acting like 3 year olds. I knew it wasn't going to work out with her from the very beginning- She shouldn't be on the show. At least Paula gets Simon, and deals with it - She doesn't take herself too seriously the way Kara does. I'm not saying that she should take any kind of disrespect as a woman, but at the same time- lighten up! It's all entertainment.
I like Kara and I like to have the 4 judges. I think the 3 judges had become a real snooze.

The "original" judges usually scold contestants if they lack "character", they
need to get on "Kara" for lacking the same.
