You know, I can't fault her for speaking her mind. She's entitled to her own opinion, and if that's how she feels, that's how she feels. Freedom of speech is just one of the many great things we're entitled to as Americans. However, it's incredibly disheartening to know that, unfortunately, most of the country is too closed-minded to see it as human beings having equal rights, because that is what it essentially boils down to.

Todos opinamos diferente, y es por eso que se han creado leyes, para poder coexistir en sociedad. Desde mucho tiempo atrás esas leyes han estado basadas en principios religiosos, sin embargo, con el correr del tiempo nos hemos dado cuenta que no puede ser asi en su totalidad, porque no todo el mundo es religioso y aunque así fuera también tendríamos diferencias porque existen 7 distintas religiones reconocidas.

No es posible (por lo menos por ahora) crear o modificar las leyes para que todos estemos contentos, pero si podemos establecer un equilibrio sobre lo que esta bien y lo que esta mal (también muy subjetivo) pero algo en lo que todavía la GRAN mayoria de las civilizaciones coincide. Entonces, si podemos decir que los derechos civiles deben ser para todos por igual.

While I understand that she has the freedom of speech, I just honestly can't understand her viewpoint or the viewpoints of others like her. How can you be a "God-loving" Christian and claim you "love" Perez, yet do not support marriage between all of "God's children." It's bullshit. Actions speak way louder than words…don't just say you love him and are praying for him, support his rights you ignorant twat! Also, I was angered by her answer, and I am a straight female. If she were to tell me she was praying for me, that would anger me even more. I don't need your sympathy prayers so I can be more like you.
