Another One? Really? As If!

Filed under: Film Flickers > Alicia Silverstone

Alicia Silverstone might be hitting the big screen again in the role that made her famou!

Silverstone and Amy Heckerling, the director and writer of Clueless, were recently spotted shopping together in Tarzana, California.

And according to reports, the two were chatting about a Clueless sequel!

Seriously? Almost 15 years later???

A source adds, “They were talking about the script they’re working on and how exciting this is for them. It’s been a dream of Alicia’s to bring Cher back to the big screen. Amy is writing it, but Alicia is giving her tons of ideas.”

What, is Cher Horowitz going to come back as ditzy rich mom this time?

    Yay! I can't wait!

  3. 3

She'll defend gay rights and they'll call it: CLUELESS, Politically Speaking… and you can make a cameo because the whole thing will be based on your Miss USA debacle

  4. 4

you know what? i'd watch it. i love alicia silverstone. i love cher! would brittany murphy come back too?

  5. 5

    bb, ONTD posted this YESTERDAY.

    FAIL.

  6. 6

she annoys me. have you ever noticed that when she talks, it's like she has not control of her lips? they're alll over the place. very distracting.

  7. 7

No one wants to see another movie about an aging spoiled fashionista who's still not yet married. Nah wait- they did love Sex In The City so I could be wrong.

  8. 8

it's such a bad idea, but i know deep down i'd totally go to see that.

  9. 9

i hope PAUL RUDD is in the sequel !

  18. 18

Perez.. seriously… the Clueless wikipedia page had this "breaking news" FIVE MONTHS AGO when Amy and Alicia first started talking about the project… You are no longer in the know.

  19. 19

    NNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  20. 20

I miss Alicia Silverstone! For some reason everyone, including PH, seems to have a chip on their shoulder about her.

I think she's fantastic! You go Cher!

  21. 21

I LOVE CLUELESS AND ALICIA SILVERSTONE BUT ANOTHER CLUELESS????
WHAT IS IT GOING TO BE ABOUT???

  22. 22

    Clueless? is that about perez?

  23. 23

This made my day. The first one is a classic!

  24. 24

    HOW FUCKING IDIOTIC!

  25. 25

whee! i love cher! i hope everybody is still in the cast!
wait. aside from paul rudd, they're all jobless. haha!

  26. 26

Sounds interesting. Clueless was one of those movies that was right on when it came out, easily influenced trends.

It would be neat to see how they envision Cher many years later. And no, it's never "too late" for a sequel as long as they recognize that the character has grown up etc. As a matter of fact, this time lapse will make it more interesting imo. Cher's probably been through a lot since last we saw the character.

  27. 27

While I loved the original movie, I have no intention of seeing anything that Alicia Silverstone is in. I'm tired of all her preaching about her social causes.

  28. 28

    sounds dumb….

  29. 29

    YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  30. 30

AWESOME!!! I hope they do an adaptation of another Jane Austen novel…maybe Sense and Sensibility??? But she'd need a sister to do that or Pride and Prejudice.

  31. 31

Love it! The first one was cute! I wonder if Paul Rudd will be back on too.

  32. 32

OH MY GOD….LIKE WHATEVER…TOTALLY…THIS CANT TURN OUT GOOD..

  33. 33

When you're career is washed up - head for the sequel.
    .
    .
It's why Tom Cruise is gonna do another Top Gun or Mission Impossible.
    .
    .
Her mouth is fucked up too..

  34. 34

as long as Stacey Dash is in it I'm there. Damn that girl is HOTTTT

  35. 35

    yay

  36. 36

I would totally watch it and love it

  37. 37

    Re: JigSaw – XD

  38. 38

if someone can re-write "pride and prejudice" with zombies, i guess "clueless" with alicia silvestone is not that far fetched

  39. 39

The thought of a Clueless sequel is exciting. Clueless is a classic (:

  40. 40

HAHAHA paul rudd def wont be in the sequel..

    42

i really think your missing the potential of how funny this ,ovie could be if they brought it back with paul rudd and donald faison..

  43. 43

If Paul Rudd is in it, I'll watch it.

  44. 44

YES, YES, YES!…as long as they don't butcher it…

  45. 45

At least they might bring paul ruddd back!! bring P

  46. 46

like, total irony! lol- i just bought Clueless today :P

  47. 47

ok, Clueless was based on Jane Austen's "Emma", so how are they going to make a sequal movie to a book that never had a sequal??? I understand that Clueless was a pop culture icon, but Stacy Dash (Dionne) is 43 years old!!! How are they going to spend this?

  48. 48

ITS ABOUT TIME. HER AGENT REALLY SUCKS HAVEN'T HEARD FROM THIS GIRL IN A MIN. WHY DOES SHE SMILE LIKE SHES CONSTIPATED?

  49. 49

niiiiiiice highbeams. or are those blue water balloons? what a fucking facelift on this broad too.

  50. 50

I luv this movie it's the best

  51. 51

    Re: dag8370
Have you recently seen Stacey Dash? No disrespect, but I bet she looks younger than you! I'm a youthful looking 20 year old and she looks a tad bit older than me- actually she could pass for 20 if she really wanted to. Stacey looks amazing. I can't say the same about Alicia. If anyone should be worried about the sequel due to aging actor we should worry about Alicia.

  52. 52

Not going to lie, I have seen Clueles like 300 times. I am 32, and will watch it every time I see it on. Loves it!

  53. 53

OMG! I LUV THAT MOVIE! YAY!

  54. 54

She is a sweet person who gives so much of her time and energies for animals and other good causes….. I wish Alicia well, in whatever endeavor she pursues! Thanks, Alicia!

  55. 55

I LOVE CLUELESS!!! Its like the best movie ever!!! They have to make a sequel and Cher can get marrried… Dion and Tye have 2 be in it… Lucy where's my white colorless shirt from Fred Segal? Its my most responsible looking enemble.

  56. 56

As long as Paul Rudd is in it, I'll go see it. That man makes me wet

  57. 57

I think that would be cool! :)

  58. 58

    YES YES YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  59. 59

that would be so awesome. who didnt love clueless

  60. 60

    yay! haha

  61. 61

Cool! I'd watch that. Anything Amy is involved with is usually pretty good

  62. 62

If Paul Rudd was in it, i'd totally watch that!

  63. 63

YAY! I LOVE CLUELESS! HOPE THEY DON'T MESS IT UP THOUGH, IT'S A CLASSIC FOR MY GENERATION!

  64. 64

the whole cast will probably be different. all sequels are. all sequels suck. but i'll probably end up seeing it anyway.
