This was more like an intervention. Way to go, Ellen. She asked her questions like she really cared about her well-being. I'm sure Dina Lohan has not been saying those things to her. You can party only when you're a person who can handle themselves within that scene… Lindsay is obviously in a dark place and clubs and bars where there are depressants "booze, drugs, etc." bad things can happen.

Lindsay has to stop defending her nightly club appearances and should just STAY HOME for a while. She needs to just go away for a bit. No one is buying her story that she goes just to "sit with people and listen to music". Why don't "serious" actresses like Natalie Portman or Anne Hathaway get photographed at the clubs? Because you're a "target", Lindsay? NO! BECAUSE THEY DON'T GO!!!

If Lindsay were serious about wanting to clean up her image and to be considered for real roles, she would get out of the spotlight and not go out every night. I was so disappointed in Ellen's interview because she started to suggest this to Lindsay, that maybe she shouldn't be constantly spotted at the clubs, but then she completely backed down.

Lindsay was NOT ready to go on Ellen. Instead of appearing sympathetic and a girl who's serious about working, she just reaffirmed the whole world's belief that she is FAR from getting her act together. That was some of the worst acting I've seen since her last movie flop.

No one believes you, Lindsay. For your own good, stay home and stay out of the media spotlight and get some help.

I agree with Ellen 100%!!!! she is talented and she really needs to evaluate her self. I do agree that going to a club does not mean you are an irresponsable, cheating alcoholic, because I do go to the club just to dance. But unfurtunately by now we have seen that's not what she does or she used to do or whatever….she unfurtunately created this image herself (after all she WAS in rehab for drug abuse) as we say Crea fama y acuestate a dormir (create your image and go to sleep, because is like you can't do anything else) she will need to "clean her image by first of all going to a doctor! IDK why she looks like that if she wants to keep saying she eats and doesn't gain weight than go to a doctor, and if not stop doing what ever is making you so thin, stop the partying for a while at least untill you land a good job and can show professionalism again and after that party like a normal person once in a while without looking almost dead in the copilot seat! good luck linds!

As much as I love Ellen, she is far too soft on these celebs. Lindsay is so full of shiot and doesn't take responsibility for her actions and Ellen didn't call her on it. She obiously tried to point out that Lindsay is partially responsible but she didn't push it. Bring on Chelsea Handler. She'll keep it real!

Just stay home for a few weeks GIRLLL! sheeeeet, I live in LA, get constant invites, and find when I stay home and be creative, the parties come & go, and I can get stuff done. I'm also a Cancerian, suseptable to my environment, and have to draw the line quite often. It's hard to subvert yourself, and misunderstandings/assumptions are unavoidable. I feel for ya in countless ways, but just stay home, hook up them turntables and mixers, throw some uber-privat house parties with your quality (not quantity) friends that give, but ask for nothing. dayum, girl, if only you were in my realm of great music and performance art, and true quality peeps. I see so much in you when I was your age, and know you grow up a wee bit everyday. I'm 30-ish, eat to nurture my temple, find highs through kundalini and crazy good green drinks. I truly hope you find that path too, as you are a light that can shine SO bright. I'm not even a fan, being a fan of things like art house films and foodie delights, but also empathetic to the human experience. whatever game you're playing, try something new, and see what happens….all the best to you LL. =)

AND….up til 27 i was uberskinny, ate aplenty….c'mon now…Lindsay is doing what most early 20-somethings do…I went out 4 nights a week, and LOOOVE music…and I partied….as did 100's of other peeps my age. now I'm 34 & am super productive. I identify with her, and know full well she's on her way. give this Chica a chance a'reddy.

This was so painful to watch - I mean, I remember earlier interviews with her where she just had some glimmer of joy or liveliness, and now she just looks like a shadow of herself (emotionally and, certainly, physically).
And the constant name-dropping… she talked about getting in touch with Sean Penn a few weeks ago, and now she mentions Natalie Portman who is so gorgeous, talented, and grounded - and who I could *never* see befriending someone like her - just to get credit. Ugh. I don't know if she'll ever pull it together, or just lumber on like Britney Spears - controlled but totally damaged.

God Bless Her. It really does break my heart but her heart will be mended she needs her fans to uphold her to get her back to what she is good at and that is acting. She is an amazing talent and I loved her and her spirit and I cannot wait till that comes back because when she was great it was amazing to see I think that is how the paparazzi got so infatuated with her.

She didn't use a single specific word the entire interview to describe herself, her career, her "situation". I mean she dogged every single question, Ellen was clearly trying to lead her in some kind of direction, give her some good advice at times, and Lindsay just (sadly) looked totally oblivious and on another planet. Her mannerisms and the way she appeared just screamed "addict". Whether her addiction be drugs, or a way of living that is toxic to her, it appears that her life is just totally out of control. This interview has just stamped that home to all her fans and non fans that she is not well and has no grip on reality. What an unfortunate case this is. She used to have such potential.

I think it's just really sad. If you watch her body language you'll see that she's not telling the truth…she knows it, we all do.
