Something Gay Just Got WAY Gayer!

The late, great piano-playing homo, Liberace, will soon be heading to Broadway.
Producers Edmund Gaynes and Nancy Bianconi are getting ready to bring the spirit of the fabulously flamboyant personality to a New York stage.
The show will re-create a Vegas showroom performance by the talented entertainer.
And set to play Liberace will be Wayland Pickard, who's actually played him before in past performances for other shows.
As for the Broadway gig, it's already gotten the approval of the Liberace Foundation for the Performing and Creative Arts.
Liberace: The Man, the Music and the Memories is scheduled to hit a Broadway stage this Fall, though no exact date has yet to be released.

Without the headline, this is an entertainment post. Liberace, though pretty gay at the time and on his tv show, inspired many mothers to demand piano lessons for their sons and daughters. My mother made sure we had great teachers, and now my brother and I share this gift with our children. Sometimes people lose the big picture without history. He was entertaining, and was a pleasure to play to in recital with very helpful criticism about piano technique, manners, and showmanship. He made no gay remarks, nor approached us, as children, improperly. I admire him as a man, not a gay man.
