Trump, who owns the Miss Universe Organization which Miss USA is a part of, has remained tight-lipped since Sunday's pageant, but The Donald has finally spoken!

"Miss California has done a wonderful job, that was her belief… It wasn't a bad answer, that was simply her belief," Trump answered in a new interview with Fox News.
The Donald also believes that Prejean was "a bit unlucky" to receive our question, and no matter how she answered it, "she was going to get killed."
We can't help but disagree!!!
There were a number of ways the beauty queen could have answered the question to avoid this whole mess, while still being "biblically correct"!!
And, putting focus on the rightful winner of Miss USA, Miss North Carolina, The Donald says, "I am very honored that she won. She really did a fantastic job … She was doing well on every single card and she really did answer also a very, very tough question very well."

Orator, race and sexual preference are NOT the same thing at all. There is not one shred of evidence that sexual preference is inherent, just the Gay community's opinion that it is. You belittle the civil rights movement by comparing it to this indulgent Gay Marriage tiff. same-sex marriage has been forced onto the people thru judicial dictatorship. Every state that was allowed to vote voted against it. So don't think a lot of people want this because they don't. What is wrong with all you people? I agree that perez is now in personal vendetta mode but why is everybody so snowjobbed by her answer? Yes she is entitled to have her opinion but she did NOT answer the question and she didn't have a coherent thought! Opposite marriage? And she said in my COUNTRY when the question was about what the individual states should do. The question didn't even ask her what she herself felt about it! And furthermore homeosexuality is not a lifestyle choice. You are born that way. I am a heterosexual and I firmly believe this. i agree and disagree w/ you perez……… i think the question was fair, and a very good one, however, i'd imagine when yo up there onstage, infront of millions of people watching in the crowd and on t.v, that it would be VERY nerve wracking, and it's a very, very sensitive subject, i think there are other ways she could've answered it too, however when you don't know it's coming and have to answer on the spot, i think she did a decent job, and she gave HER opion, she did what was asked of her, and i also think the donald is rt, that pretty much no matter how she'd have answered it, some group of pep's would have been pissed off! you just can't win!

Your claims about Christianity are way off base. But for the sake of argument I will agree with you. It's an invalid point though, since the defense of marriage has nothing to do with one religious view and everything to do with a cultural view. The idea of marriage between a man and a woman is shared by a multitude of people of different religions and varying viewpoints. The entire concept of marriage is intented to protect the fundamental element of humanity: the family, namely the fostering of children. Suffice it to say, homosexuals cannot procreate like a heterosexual couple will. People for the defense of marriage, in this case, are FOR tradition and FOR common sense (which are one in the same here).
As I stated before, though people may have a religious reason for their idea of marriage, the definition IS a legal one and for good reason. The fact that a couple activist judges decided to overturn this despite thousands of years worth of legal precedents stemming from common law in almost every culture known to man is beyond my puny brain. I guess you liberals know better though.

Yes Everyone has a opinion, and Miss California has the right to her opinion, but the fact of the matter is that the issue of Gay Marriage is a very important issue facing our generation. Religions has the right to disallow same sex marriage, but should it really be left up to the government to disallow them to do so? It shouldn't. There are real issues that surround this, and its horrible that this was all dragged out from a beauty pagent. I disagree on certain levels that the personal attacks on Miss California are wrong, she just answered the question and of course it wasn't how most people expected her to respond. She isn't the only person who feels that way, I know a lot of people who share in her belief, people who bascially are stuck on tradition. I know it difficult to accept change, but we as a nation do need to be more open minded and more accepting because the fact of the matter is that this nation is a nation full of diversity.
