14-Year-Old British Diving Olympian Bullied At School

14-year-old Tom Daley - one of England's top medal hopefuls for the 2012 Olympic Games - might have to change schools on account of the bullying he's received since returning from last year's Beijing Olympics.

His father, Rob, said his "son's well-being comes before everything else" and even though Tom had "always ignored the 'diver boy' or 'Speedo boy' comments" the bullying has come to the point where Tom doesn't even want to go to school anymore.

Our thoughts go out to Tom. You're a star! Shine on!

Get home-schooled. Go kick-butt in the 2012 Games!

They actually bully him because they think he's gay. It's nothing to do with his diving. I know this because my sister is good friends with him at school and when he's there he only hangs around with girls. He's a lovely lad, he's not gay, people just use the diving thing as an excuse. It's all just jealousy because he's got talent.

Oh, and it doesn't help that the school he goes to is a pile of shite for working around his diving, they keep saying he's moving to private school, however, he hasn't gone yet.

bullies can affect your life in such a negative way. Don't let anyone knock down your self-esteem and self-worth. Bullies are just miserable, self-hating, insecure people who want to take away your beauty.

Bwah. I can't believe this guy has been seen doing such amazing things worldwide at the Olympics - representing his country - and people are bullying him for being "different" (i.e. he has a life, they don't.) I vote we just go to his school and beat the crap out of the bullies, shoving their faces in nasty pooch-poo. They won't realise the error of their ways from this but hey, it will make us feel better. No really….shall we do this. Next week is good for me.
