      Situations like this are such lose-lose situations. The death of a boy so young, is obviously unfortunate and it breaks my heart to hear stories about this. The options are limited and it's sad that there's nothing we can do besides teach these kids that bullying is not the right thing to do. I blame the school as well. The mother reached out to school officials "seven to eight times." Why was nothing done? Even if something WAS done, it obviously didn't work.

      I really do think that this is what makes America a bad country to grow up with. All these ”demands” from people to others to act like they want, to eat like they want, to be like they want.       Here in Holland I've got a friend, and he just came out and told anyone who wanted to know he is gay. The day that he came out was the day he was happy for the first time. No one bullied him or called him names, we are all his friends.

      My son hasn't even started kindergarden yet and i am REALLY thinking about home schooling….I think i would loose it if some kid was picking on my son! Forget waiting for the school to handle it! I'm gonna see that kid or kids and their parents!!!!

      I was bullied in school for dating outside of my race and being overweight, it got so bad that I wanted to kill myself at 12, I wrote a note and everything, thank god I didn't go through with it, SOMETHING has to be done about bullying in school, it can severly damage a person, it seems that the teachers DO NOT CARE!!!

      When I have kids later in life, if I hear that they are being bullied, I swear I will go up to that school and RAISE HELL until something is done to the people who were dong the bullying.

      This little guy should have had a gramma like me to hug him and kiss him and tell him that nothing anyone could possibly say about or to him in that stupid school would be worth his precious life!!!! I remember how it was to be bullied in school (I had red hair and freckles and suffered tremendously) but at least I had my mom to turn to when I felt like dying… Hey, maybe we can all look at Ms. Boyle and figure out that it doesn't matter what certain people say or think….it's all about what YOU HAVE INSIDE YOU!!!!!

      Just a couple of days ago, my 11 year old son told me about some bullying he's had lately. One time just last week was when he and his friend Tommy were on the playground, and some boy comes up to them and says "Instead of the three musketeers, it's the two muskaqueers". It's all said because this kid knows my son and his friend are good kids and would never haul off and pop him in the nose - which is exactly what this kid needs. I will be going to the principal on Monday, because it has gone on too long and nothing has been done where the school is concerned. And Perez, you might want to start with your own website, there is tons of bullying that goes on HERE.

I was bullied in school all the time, always made fun of, but I didnt kill myself, because I know the people who are bullying are only doing it because they are worse off than me and it gives them a sence of pride, but if kids just stood up for themselves and didnt let things get to them we wouldnt have this problem but people are always putting kids down making them feel like they ARE usless like they CANT do anything to get away but kill themselves.       I’m asking my self, Why Mr. Perez would like us to see this in the first place? Is it that Mr. Perez experienced the same thing that he ended up becoming gay? Did you tell you mom about this issue Mr. Perez and your mom or dad was not able to do anything about it?       People. Stop saying there are no bad kids, just bad parenting. Because it doesnt matter what a parent does to try to raise a kid right, if they dont like it, they will not listen. they are not the innoscent little beings that everyone thinks they are and I find it extremely rediculous that everyone can say this considering THEY were kids once too.       And…folks are saying the 11 year old in Georgia wasn't gay. Maybe he wasn't. All I know is that he was eleven. A child. Lawrence King was labled gay, probably around the same age. He was small and had learning disabilities. I cannot go into the details, but Larry was most likely not gay. Not that there is anything wrong with being gay. Gay is not the issue here. It's bullying. My nephew was murdered in his middle school by a classmate just a little more than a year ago. The school not only turned a blind eye to the bullying, but an administrator (lesbian and gay rights activist) and teacher encouraged his behaviour.

      Perez has been calling Miley a slut for at least a year. So she is just 4 years, give or take….still a child. Look at what he did to Britney? He is a flipping bully.

      So gay men and women of America? What do you think? Is it more important for your to feel good about your relationship……or helping the young gay/questioning children?

      I am seriously sickened by this dialogue. Something has to be done. Thoughts?

      You know what? To this day, I still can't really understand people who bully! I've never been a bully myself, and I can't imagine doing that to other people… I can't stand the thought of deliberately hurting other people. But if you're bullied and really feel like you have no choice, then slug those bullies across the face! I'm not even kidding, if someone pushes you past the limit, fight with them; fight with all your strength even if you get really hurt. If you even thought about taking your own life, what are you afraid of in fighting the bullies? Leave an impression on the bullies that they can't easily fuck with you. It's easier said than done, I know; I did experience bullying before, and yes, I did eventually get into a fight and afterward the girl never pushed me again (or come within my vicinity) they fuck with you only if you show them they can.

      this is very sad my heart goes out to his family. bullying is a hugh issue. my little sister is austic and bullied almost daily at school. we are both in the same gym class and one day 3 kids were picking on her she told the gym teacher and he didnt do anything about it so i did. not only did the teacher not do anything about it he lied about helping her the issue got so out hand the my family had to take the teacher to the school board. i will always stand up for someone who is being bullied i wish other kids did the same
