   If everybody just stopped talking about her, there wouldn't be an issue. If people stopped making such a big deal about it her words would have no effect. The amount of media coverage she's been getting is ridiculous, I think I can speak for myself and the rest of the gay people I know when I say no-one gives a fuck what some jumped up chick in a bikini thinks about our marriage rights.

   Re: MeinAZ – You've missed the point entirely. You can't marry a person to an animal because an animal can't consent. Ditto with children, as they haven't matured enough to make a rational decision about these things. What two consenting adult men (or indeed women) choose to do with their lives is none of your concern because a/ it doesn't affect your life and b/nobody is being taken advantage of.

   I wouldn't say the girl has lost her career. It will just be a lot more limited, directed to right-wing, conservative Christians, who I'm sure will support her. She can perform on Christian tv and do stuff related to church. I'm sure those church shows would love to use her to rally against same-sex marriage.

   UM, don't forget CANADA! Same-sex marriage has been legal in Canada for a number of years and the sky hasn't fallen. Hell, our economy is in better shape than America and our unemployment rate is lower too. It must be god thanking us for being so nice! lol

   Perez, what you did at the Miss America pageant is horrible. I may not live in a liberal community, but I can promise you that everyone I know and work with thinks you were irresponsible and childish. You used your celebrity to influence a venue in an inappropriate manner. It was not your place to push your own agenda. The pageant was not about you. I have always enjoyed your website and your show. Not anymore.
