Cheryl Pulls A Beyonce!

In what's sure to bring out the claws, Girls Aloud singer and X Factor judge Cheryl Cole is "temporarily" splitting off from the group to work on her solo career.
She, will, however, be joining the ladies on their upcoming UK tour.
A spokesman for the group confirmed that Girls Aloud will be taking a break to pursue various solo endeavors from "music to acting to beauty to fashion" - which just sounds like a diplomatic way of saying that Cole might be pulling a Beyonce.
Earlier this year, however, Girls Aloud signed a record deal for three new albums, including one for fall 2010.
There is no official confirmation yet on who Cole will be working with or when to expect her first solo album, but, one of our faves, FrankMusik Tweeted that he would be working with Cole.
We thought, for sure, Nadine would have been the first one to attempt a solo album!!!

She needs to lay off the fake tan thing, because all the pictures I have seen of her, she looks in her 30's but I read she's only 25. She looks 40 in her pic on Wikipedia.

Well Girls Aloud are famous for looking like Barbie Dolls, not for talent. With the exception of NICOLE the rest cannot sing. Maybe Cheryl Cole will sell records due to her looks, considering that is the worst singer among the lot.

I don't think that there is anything wrong with a solo career but if she couldn't make it on her own in the first place then its shitty for her to use the group as a means to an end. Where does that leave everyone else when she bails?? People are just so self centered and self absorbed that it seems like groups cant even stay together anymore, or not for that long anyway.
She hasn't got the biggest voice ever no……….but she's never claimed to be bloody beyonce has she?? She is hugely popular in the uk and it was only a matter of time before she went solo bcos of this popularity. Nadine does blatantly have the most beautiful voice of the lot of em, but Cheryl seems to be totally dominating everything, which must be slightly annoying for the other girls- even though I am sure they would be pleased that she has become so succesful it must kinda be like 'enough already' lol. The other girls are really talented as well and I hope they achieve success in their own right
