MTV Rips Off Project Runway
Why come up with something new? Just copy create a show that's exactly like one that already exists.
Why worry about taking a risk with an unproven show when you can just take something with a proven success record? Kind of like how MTV's new show, tentatively titled Gone Too Far, seems to be a copy of A&E's Intervention.
Well, now the heads of MTV have come up with another brand "new" idea. They're going to have a "fashion-competition" show. Can we say Bravo programming?!?
The new show, The Stylist, will deal with a group of "design-savvy professionals who assemble clothes and accessories for celebrities and models" while competing for a contract with a major agency.
Wonder if they'll get a Heidi Klum look-a-like to host the MTV show?
At least we know they can get Heidi Montag to do it in a flash if offered!

NOTHING is original anymore. American idol ripped off WB's Popstars a few years back. Just like everything on the Bravo ripped off Tyra Banks. Tyra was the first model to create a competition regarding models and other stylists (including her show with Anne which was the in the works years prior).
Perez, you're just another wannabe publicity hound. Your ilk has plagued Hollywood for years and years. You have no real talent in the business. But you manage to make yourself somewhat famous in a very tedious way.

WTF are you talking about? the stylist will have contestants assembling clothes and accessories THAT THEY BU. On Project Runway, contestants had to MAKE the clothes. not even close, Mario. Oh and PS you're not going to sicceed because you forgot what made you famous in the first place: the gossip. celebs know they can buy your praise, so you've lost your edge. Your star is falling, not rising.

I so heard about this like forever and a year ago. Heidi Klum is a Fugly one. This just goes to show that you can't have fame, riches, and good looks oh well.
I feel like I either saw that show on MTV or VH1 already and it is not really a rip off of PR. Vivica Fox was a host and the people are "styling" celebrities and other people as opposed to designing clothes for them. So it's more for people who want to be like Rachel Zoe instead of Donatella Versace or whatever. BUT since we are on the subject, I saw a rip off of PR on Bravo! Some designer show hosted by Isaac Mizrahi and Kelly Roland. That seems like more of a rip off. I want PR back!
