A seventh grader in Sacramento has just been confirmed as the 8th case of swine flu virus in California.

      i am from sacramento and can share some additional info. The child is in elementary school and had already recovered (from what i hear on the news). Apparently 3 other children have flu-like symptoms and are being tested now. The elementary school has been shut down temporarily.

      Canyon Creek Elementary school in Richardson I.S.D. Texas (North Dallas area) school district is closed til further notice. One confirmed case of the Swine Flu and two more are probable to also be carrying the flu virus… my lil' sis is in this school district. Hmmm… scary!

      Swine flu was around in the mid 70's. Theres a vaccine for it. The cases in the USA have been mild. Mexicans get a bit too close to their swine.

      It was actually SAN DIEGO, in Mira Mesa a suburb. Christ the Cornerstone Lutheran. It was a 7 y/o boy who tested positive as of last night 4/27/2009. Also 6 teachers fell ill, but are not yet confirmed with the Swine Flu.

      Just to make things clear: this flu is all over the world (UK, Spain, Canada), not only in Mexico. It stared just after all the tourist came from different parts of the world (specially you stupid spring brakers) for holidays, so its not actually a Mexican virus.
      Don´t take it lightly just because you think you are a 1st world country because this virus strikes everybody who doesn´t take caution messures….
