Al Roker's one busy dude!
Roker is currently the weather dude on NBC's Today show. But, the veteran TV anchor will now be getting his own show!
Al will be joining The Weather Channel as the host of their new morning show.
Every weekday, he'll appear from 6am til 7am (before Today) on the the Weather Channel's Wake Up With Al , which will feature co-host, meteorologist, Stephanie Abrams.
Roker's new show will begin airing this Summer.
Do we really need a whole hour's worth of weather news? Don't most people just tune in to the Weather Channel and then switch the station after a minute or two?

I've never tuned into the Weather Channel for more than the 1minute it takes me to find out how warm it's gonna get that day.

I freakin' LOVE The Weather Channel! Where else can you get REAL news that matters WITHOUT BIAS?? What other network FASCINATES and actually INSPIRES you to do something fun ouside? I'd pick The Weather Channel over MTV any day.

He's worthless. Williard Scott is so much better without being obnoxious. Plus, Roker ripped off Williard Scott's tagline "your neck of the woods". Get your own line you Smuckers-hating fatty.
Hell yes we luvs the weather channel! Its best at night when your falling asleep. It has a nice monotone sound to it and beleive it or not there are shows on there, not just up to the minute weather.
